Cmdr Masefield, you do realize Grayfox is working from 1:30 to 8:30 on Sundays right? If this was a Sunday meeting that would mean Sunday at 10pm EDT for a start. Do you have a problem with that? Not only that but I would like to accomodate our members across the pond better. But if I don't here from them soon, we may just roll with it. Looks to me like Orion Fleet is a group of hard working individuals in RL. My work Schedule is usually 8am to 4:30pm M-F. The problem is the wife, we never know when she gets done with work. This week we haven't been getting home until 7:30pm. Good Grief.

I'd like hold a Fleet meeting sometime after this weekend, within the next week or so. Let me know what is good for you guys, and we will plan something that fits the majority.

I can do a meeting except this weekend coming 9/25 to 9/26. Saturday is my 5th wedding anniversary, and I don't think the misses will appreciate me diverting our time here. She wouldn't even let me take my new Notebook on Vacation last week. Oh well. Keep me posted Remo.

Hey this is some good stuff. Give me a few days guys and I will be back up to snuff. I've been "house sitting" for my parents for the last three weeks without my PC, and regulated back to a dial up connection. It has not been fun on the pc side of things. I am happy to report this "assignment" will be concluding this weekend, and at which time I will be happily computing again at home. l also have a few ideas rolling around in me brain. Let me collect my thoughts, and my life back together and we will be humming along again quite nicely. I do have one question Bader. Will you be able to supply Fleet email accounts to everyone? I'm just wondering, don't worry if you can't.

Well, I'd have to say their past driver history still haunts them. Plus people aren't willing to pay for an "Experiment", when they know Nvidia just works. I remember when BCM first come out, and there were a few players with first generation Radeon cards that just wouldn't render the game properly, and was a direct result of Video Driver issues. I was all set to get a Radeon for my new PC (It isn't so new anymore) until this came to light, and picked up a GF3 Ti200 instead. I've sinced moved the GF3 to my wife's machine and replaced it with a GF4 Ti4200. I'm actually glad you posted this thread, as I'm about to replace both of our Geforce cards with Radeon 9600xt cards. I believe ATI has the better hardware, they can still keep their high end cards to one slot, and one power connector. I was still a little concerned about ATI's drivers, until I read your post. I'm now that more confident in moving to an ATI card, thank you.

As Mr. Wolfe has stated, he will be a separate unit. For those that don't know, or aren't familiar with Mr. Wolfe, his unit has always been shrouded in secrecy. Now if Mr. Wolfe can scrape some time together to check his email inbox and reply, maybe we can put a name to the face so to speak.

Man, I can just imagine how much heat this system is going to produce. If the AC vendors were smart, they'd start marketing direct hookups into your PC box. I almost forgot, what about the power requirements? These Nvidia cards are already coming with dual power connectors. This keeps up and we are going to have to get a PSU just for the video card alone. This leads me to question, why can ATI keep their cards to one slot, and one power connector, but Nvidia cannot? Hmm....
