  1. I purchased it as well. I think the premise is good, but I probably should have waited a bit till it was out of Early Access. One problem I had was it doesn't support my resolution....yet. I'm sure it will be rectified but until then, it's on my hold list. -Sho
  2. Hey Emy....you can always defect over to the Insurgents! :) -Sho
  3. Hi guys! Another month has rolled on by so fast my head is spinning! Not much to report other than the LoD MMO is gradually taking shape and is moving right along. Also, the SC has been working on the DLC (The Lyrius Conflict) for Universal Combat which is going to be pretty cool once it's complete. You can find more information on that in the General News thread at the top of the forum. Please check in! -Sho
  4. Gentlemen: I would like to convey my appreciation to those Insurgents who checked in on last month's muster. It is appreciated. I was even surprised to see Charles stop on by. Line of Defense is coming along very nicely. Most, if not all, of the weapons have been unlocked and we are very close to getting vehicles unlocked. For those of you that have the game, I could sure use some help in testing. PM me if interested, and we can setup some times. If we work together, we can make this game successful. Universal Combat CE has also been getting some love. There is DLC that is available for purchase on Steam that will add some items as well as fix some issues. Please read the thread about it in the forum. Very busy month indeed it has been. Ok, with that out of the way, whose still with us? -Sho

You can find them over on Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=441449400 His series of videos is great for newbs and even a good refresher for the Vets! -Sho
  9. Well, holy cow, Charles! Glad to see you make it! I was beginning the think you were MIA in GalCom space! I think the Supreme Commander has mellowed a bit, but back him in a corner or piss him off.....well, let's just say I pity you! Mostly been testing Line of Defense....you should get into the fray, Charles! -Sho
  10. Greetings, Gentlemen! This past month has been.....rather hectic! LoD is coming along very nicely and the newest patch, as of this date, released the 2 versions of the High Altitude Insertion Suits (HAIS). They are a great way to get from space to a planetary scene's surface. They are also great to use in a planetary scene for recon purposes. So if you are in the beta, I highly recommend you check out the new version along with the other goodies it adds. Short and sweet....who's still with us? -Sho
  11. Thanks for the update, Ben! -Sho

  15. I'm not really much of a poetry reader (more into sci-fi), but I'm glad to see you expanding your writing into the genre. I'm sure you'll do just fine, Ben! Thanks for sharing! -Sho

  18. Gentlemen: Wow....these months just keep going quicker and quicker! I don't mind that though, it just means spring is coming quicker so I can get out of this infernal cold weather! Earlier this month, the SC released Universal Combat CE for free on Steam. So if you don't have it, or just want to put it in your Steam library, be sure to grab it. There's also a few new players that discovered this game on the forums over there. It might be nice for the old-timers to share some of their experiences there with the newbs. This week in LoD, some infantry weapons have been unlocked. I'm looking forward to trying them out against other players. The game is certainly shaping up, that's for sure! That's all I have for now, so with that....please report in! -Sho
  19. .....and who said roleplaying would never get you anywhere! lol -Sho
  20. For all you new Commanders or old salt Commanders that just need a brush-up on playing Universal Combat CE, Lazychan over on the Steam Universal Combat CE forums has posted quite a few excellent videos. You can also check them out on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbhrf2-1gFqh52vSDkngz_Q/videos -Sho
  21. Hi Mutheu! I think that the most important spare parts are what you, as the Commander, think is important. As you probably already know, you already start out with a few spare parts. You just never know what parts you will need to repair your ship after a battle because you don't know what your damage will be. Personally, I take a few extra Armor Repair Units, Computer Repair Kits and Engine Repair Kits. The rest of my repairs I do at a Starstation. So, in answer to your question, I don't think there a specific "important" spare parts list for your ship. Clear as mud? A good section to read on repairs is section 11.1 of the manual located in the games install/docs directory. -Sho
