  1. Thanks cmdr Badgerius, thanks cmdr Jansen! I will chose Cerberus then! No worries, even if it will bark (and bite) a lot with three heads, it will never do that to its master! It's a good dog! See you in space cmdrs!
  2. As squadron leader can I give a name to my squadron? (1st squadron Delta)?? I saw that 1st squadron of Gamma Wing is called The Guarddogs. I thought of "Cerberus Squadron" (It is a three headed dog with a snake tail and snake heads proturding from his back. He guards the entrance to the underworld, allowing the dead to enter but, never to leave.), unless its a name already taken by some other wing or squadron in other fleets. If so my second choice is "The Hellhounds". This way we keep the same theme along with The Guarddogs of Gamma Wing. I would like some feedback from Delta memebers. If positive, I will submit it to Galcom for approval. Please, let me know! See you in space [ 12-14-2001: Message edited by: Stephanos ]

Who knows, maybe our great-grandchildren will play together Battlecruiser Platinum Multiplayer Edition around 2075 ! I bet Derek will be still around telling our great-grandchildren: "RTFM" and "It's ready when it's ready!"
  5. quote:Originally posted by Tac: Slice, dice, and boil 'em in mint sauce & feed them to the dogs Poor dogs! IMHO he does not deserve to die, let me explain: 1) It would be a too easy ending for him (he should suffer at least the same pain all the victims did suffer and their relatives still do) 2) If he dies, he will become a martyr and a myth to follow and emulate for all those Jihad fanatics. And that scary me much more than his live presence. 3) His death would only be a quick and too short relief for all the relatives of the thousands of victims, for all of you US americans and for all the western civilized people. Something different has to be done, I do not know what. But terrorism (in all its aspects) is the virus, and we have to find its cure. As soon as possible. OK, probably now I have to change some data in my profile, or I could find some taliban waiting for me down the street tomorrow morning!
  6. Thanks SC! Enjoy your VERY well-deserved holiday! And... well, send us a postcard! (BTW, talking about holidays, right now, over here in Italy, it is snowing!) See you in space. [ 12-13-2001: Message edited by: Stephanos ]
  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! Next time we'll meet in space I will offer you a nice cigar!! Once more, congratulation Commander, to you and your wife (who did most of the job!) See you in space!
  8. I sent two shuttle on Mars, to do some mining. I was on Shuttle 1. We landed one in front of the other, then I deployed my mining drone and... the drone went right on top of Shuttle 2 and started mining !! It was really funny. I have a screenshot somewhere. Then I checked what the drone was mining and... surprise: no minerals! Only "Human meat"! No, no, just kidding! Actually I did not check what was extracted, I was too busy laughing, and forgot to check. See you in space!
  9. quote:Originally posted by Jaguar: I went in tonight and changed the Delta Wing complex over to the Gammulan Offensive fleet complex No more Delta Wing complex? Cmdr Jaguar, sigh, you really abandoned your old wing for those ugly gammulan?!?! OK, no problem! But do not complain if you get some missle warnings while you are quietly traveling near Mars! Anyway, with my connection I can't visit Active World, right now. Hopefully, in one month, I should switch to fiber optic connection (10Mbit line), then I will navigate at light speed (litteraly)!!! See you in space!
  10. Yes, I will try to be there, just tell when and where. About this, what about IRC, channel #galcom. I know that, for those who do not have IRC client, you can connect to that channel on ISS web site, in the BC Chat area. What do you think?
  11. Actually: NOVA (in latin) is the feminine form of NOVUS which means young, inexperienced. Then Cmdr Nova should be a woman! No va (in Italian) is not correct, the correct way is NON VA (which means "it's not working" or "it does not go") That's all folks. See you in space.
  12. quote:Originally posted by Epsilon 5: Probably because they didn't activated the option that sends an email whenever you get a PM... Yes, I think that is the reason too, but I also think that it's a good idea to check own profile for Private Msg once a day, or when you log in (it takes only 2 seconds). Hope they will read these posts! See you in space

This way anyone will know his CD-Key is in his profile , as SC said, no one but himself will ever ask you your CD-Key. Keep it secret! Rip, please, clear that field as soon as possible!! See you in space. [ 12-13-2001: Message edited by: Stephanos ]
  14. Here is a easy trick to remember the right way to say GCV: G.alC.om V.essel Easy, ain't it? See you in space
  15. I do not understand why so many are complaining about the game hanging up. I have a "minimum required" PC (P2 400Mhz, only 128Mb Ram, and an old, jurassic, Diamond Viper 550 (nVidia TNT) with only 16Mb on it). Yes, I had some problem at the beginning, but after some reading of the FAQ and of this forum I was able to fix all the problem, in only few minutes and two or three reboot! Thanks SC, and all the other guys that made this possible. Now I can play for hours without problems (well, it slows down a little when there are 4/5 gammulan ships near Galcom HQ and the terran forces send out their defensive ships... ). BTW, Santa Claus will bring me soon a new PC, kind of NASA mainframe . Back to the topic "Private Messages": A week ago I sent a private message to JJ, Eihort and Mr_Paris. Its quite an urgent and important issue. They never red that message. Ehi guys, you three, please go check your Private Messages!!!! Thanks. See you in space.
  16. You will find my Screen Shots in my website, under the Cmdr Logbook area. Just move your mouse over the date you would like to see a picture of. Right now only one, and not very interesting (GCV Artemis leaving Galcom HQ), but soon I will put some "action" images too! Stay tuned. See you in space!
  17. Farewell cmdr Jaguar! Good luck with your new fleet. And next time we shall meet, I promise, I will blow your ship up very quickly, in a painless way! Eh, eh, eh, nothing personal, Cmdr, but you know, those Gammulan... well! They killed my parents! (You can read a quick bio on my website) See you in space!

  19. Thank you very much, Tac! The fonts I use are Logan (and are already normal, I mean not bold). I am testing the site on different monitor resolution now. Thanks also for the sig advice (I will add the link immediatly) and also for the grammar correction! (My english is terrible!!) Btw, it's not my voice, eh eh, it's a synthetized voice form a free text to speech service I found on the Web. Thanks again!! See you in space [ 12-10-2001: Message edited by: Stephanos ]
  20. Wow, some Flash fans! Maybe this is the right place to ask: I need a quick review of my new website (just click in the homepage icon right near the Profile icon, up there). Any advice? What you guys think? Please be really mean and cruel! (Well not too much, please ) Thaks! See you in space
  21. Hallo cmdr Tac, I had same problem yesterday, since was updating my website too. (Please, have a look, even if I am still waiting for SC approval). There are lots of sites that are no longer valid. Also, the Battlecruiser Webring list needs some fixing (there are two links to the same website, there are some links that do not work anymore). Now that new BCM is out, let's renew also the websites, and their link! See you in space.
  22. Ok, new website for GCV Artemis is online!! SC, I would like to submit the homepage for approval. To all other commanders, please, would you check the new GCV Artemis website and give me your (any, good or mean ) opinion? Thanks! (WOW! I just received GALCOM approval by mail. It took only 5 minutes!! That's the GALCOM efficency! ) See you in space. [ 12-10-2001: Message edited by: Stephanos ]
  23. Well, for a Valkerie you could look handsome! But IMHO, you really look frightening! (Nothing personal! eh eh eh) See you in space
  24. Ummmhh.... Looks like all Delta Wing members are very busy testing their new ships!! Where is everybody??? I know the game is simply The perfect simulation, but... C'mon, drop that joystick! Come back to Earth (for a while only, eh eh eh). Btw, between a mission and another I worked on my new website. It is coming out quite nice. I will post the url tomorrow, so that SC can give me approval. Well, I've got to go now, some Gammulan riders are coming out from hyperspace, Starpath station need my help!!! See you in space!
