  2. quote: Originally posted by BC_Vet: hehe ROFL!! More proof that these "vets" of this game, prolly don't ever freakin PLAY this game. Obviously my reply was self-evident, so either you didn't read it, or u ain't never been there. The beauty of this game is that u can play forever and never see what I've seen or did what I've done. There r no vets in BC...only people that have played this game forever. Shirly you're not talking to me. Remember... "Nobody can hear you scream when the outer door opens on the airlock." 3. Underlord, Please remember that the denizens of this board possess above average intelligence. Most are well above average. If you question my experience with this game, take another look at my Signature. Then look in the back of your BCM manual. Also, I'll have you know that my butt is far from fat.
  4. She's a beauty, Remo. Now fix the kids up good by spoiling her rotten. I have four of the little rugrats. Or is it five? dunno, lost count. The really nice thing about grandchildren is that their stay is temporary, then they go home with mommy and daddy. My grandkids are 700 miles away so I don't get to see them often. BTW: welcome back. Ya Noob
  5. quote: Originally posted by BC_Vet: The problem with launching all your assets around a friendly station is that you might come back and find some of your craft SOS or destroyed. AI pilots will engage hostiles anywhere in the region if u leave them on default SAD orders. With pilots below 50 AI, I couldn't advise this tactic, it's cheaper just to shut off launch control, walk back to ur shuttle and then u won't have to worry about losing assets when u r out-of-system. How pray tell are you going to launch your shuttle with launch control powered down? That's right! You can't. I always attempted to circumvent the problem by landing the CC on a planetary body. Even that gives no guarantee of asset safety. Many times I returned to find a shuttle gone and sometimes a couple of fighter craft. The shuttle would be sitting on the ground not far from the CC....unrecoverable. So, I just accept the loss and replace the asset. If your command crew has gained sufficient AI then you can leave without worry because they will kill launch control at the first sign of an intruder. Makes it a wee bit tough to RTB, but you can do it.
  6. Manually hyperjump to the target. Leave Resnig in the garbage disposal and you will get less unauthorized navigation. A loose nut behind the con is the last thing you want.
  7. Have you tried blasting the thing?
  8. quote: Originally posted by RT: You give Resnig command over the craft while you're out on the beach, come back and see that LOL Resnig is like that. He looks alot better with his head in the trash compactor. And it keeps him from committing stupid acts like that one.
  9. quote: Originally posted by RT: Another sig test Good man, RT! Hey you fleet types, got one here with more than a few functional neurons. /Wolferz steps back to allow the Sharks easy access to the Guppie.
  10. quote: Originally posted by Joel Schultz: N00bs take note! See what you learn by reading the manual? We got ourselves a smart one here. No visitors to the airlock for now, it seems. Nah Nah Nah. We need some entertainment here. Let's make him walk the plank anyway. "get the SC's hat out of that closet, Cadet. Nevermind those buttons on the wall in there."
  11. When Microsoft announced Vista and thier miserly attempt to sew up the PC gaming industry, I knew they were destined to fail, miserably. What the boys in Redmond don't seem to realize is that Monopoly is a board game, not something you want to turn your livelihood into. As far as I'm concerned, they have become a bunch of paranoid Midas types. Guarding thier gold with bleary eyes and Avarice like tenacity. I won't be buying into thier Buy Vista and turn your PC into an XBox 360 The XBox 360 is a piece of junk. Foisted on the unsuspecting masses and I don't feel that Vista is any different. So, I guess my PC gaming days are numbered. They will run XP into the obsolete bin just as soon as they can and leave us with only one choice. Vista or bust! Maybe it's time we all started looking at Mac and Linux.
  12. Somebody is bucking for a tour of the airlock.
  13. Apparently (Pun intended) it's a yuppie family that doesn't have a clue. LOL I would have just killed the circuit breaker to that wall outlet.
  14. That's right Ms Beaman! You've won a free trip to Guantanomo! Kind of puts you off flying doesn't it?
  15. WoW! LOL "How do we kill that which has no life?"
  16. Graphics do not a good game make. But, you knew that.
  17. quote: Originally posted by mysticshadow: No no, I was stating that they do exist when I said I could transfer them to my Shuttle. They are loaded and ready to be launched from the CC via Tacops. The squares are lit light green. I never had this problem before I updated to the newest patch. You aren't trying to launch them with the Hyperdrive engaged, are you?
  18. quote: Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: you can't force Resnig to hit the books. Though I'm sure some folks would sure like to. I would rather hit him "WITH" the books.
  19. quote: Originally posted by mysticshadow: Heh, I know that... I've been playing UC since '04, if I didn't know that... I'd be pretty upset with myself. That's what I meant by they're there, they are all loaded up and ready to go... But when I click and select launch in Tacops, nothing. Are you trying to launch them during Hyperspace transition? Another question for ya... How could I possibly know that you have been playing UC since 2004? Your registration date shows May 2007. Therefore you appear to be a noob
  20. Probes are launched via the Tacops screen. RTFM there Cadet. Oh, after you read that... READ THIS too. [ 05-26-2007, 07:11 PM: Message edited by: Wolferz ]
