  1. Excellent news! I'm seriously looking forward to playing it... until BCM gets released over here in Europe. Heartfelt thanks, Boss.
  2. Some folk have too much time on their hands, lol. Here's two more: 51) Erase the human race. 52) Relocate everyone off world.
  3. Will it be possible to order it via EB's international branches, especially if it's only a US release, initially? I'll check my local EB store to see how clued up they are about BCM.
  4. Well, I've been playing around with the demo for the past fortnight, and I'm not finished with it yet. It's seriously good fun. I'm itching for the "gold" version already. Though unsupported... I love the window "/W" flag. Reading the manual while playing is a great help. Kudos to all involved, and for sticking with it. BTW - I only encountered two problems: - one resolved by scanning the readme (mouse pointer) - the other was solved with the "/D1" flag.
  5. ROTFL. I think I'll create the menu for word and excel, and share it around the office tomorrow.
  6. Paddy, As SteveM said... PC Zone is the only games mag I know that's got both versions of the Demo on cd. Whether you guys get PC Zone in Switzerland is another matter. If you feel up to downloading the demo... one place that I know of, in Europe, is ftp.gamesdomain.co.uk. See their "/pub/demos" directory for either BC3000AD demo file. I don't usually download demos, well actually... I never do... but BC3000AD was a "special case" Regards, & Good Huntin'. [ 05-02-2001: Message edited by: Straker ]
  7. A large asteroid would be a nice cliched location for (out)castes/indies... off the beaten path, uncharted, and surrounds by other floating rocks. Something about the name "Jamaica" keeps bugging me. Damn! I've far too much time on my hands (yea... I wish). Regards, & Good Huntin'.
  8. Thanks for the warm welcome Nova. That price for cable service got me thinking... so I did some research... ... If you was here, you'd have 64kb ISDN (excluding modem, and call charges) for that price ($39.65 to be precise). Just aswell there isn't an "instant graemlin" to depict "green with envy" because the rest of my post would be filled with 'em. Regards, & Good Huntin'.
  9. I'll be running BCM on the following kit: - PIII 850 - 512MB ram - 32MB ATI 4xAGP card - 56K modem - Usual pc stuff... hard drives, CD/CDRW/DVD, NIC - W98SE, and Win2K Pro The modem's the "weak" link, but in my neck of the world you pay "BIG" (seriously expensive) for anything else. No ASDL, cable, etc. Regards, & Good Huntin'.
  10. Outlaw, I'm gona try all the careers/castes when BCM is released. As for when the online version opens, in 2002, I think I'll play an indie... initially. Couple of reasons: - new to the BC3000AD universe (read: "clueless") - playing time, or possible lack of. - freedom Mind you... this could all change. 2002 is a long way off. Regards, & good huntin'.
