  2. Hi Mike113, you can fill in form for application to Prime Fleet here. And then you can get familiar with the fleet here. And welcome [ 03-27-2002, 02:27: Message edited by: Papi ]
  3. Gentlemen, remember to send your commanders logs here till the end of the month. As you may remember everyone who hasn't done it till the given deadline will be purged from the Prime Fleet database! We don't need members who can't contribute this little effort.

It was near wormhole and there I was amazed of my CC, flying around it. Suddenly a Stormcarrier nearby thought that my CC, while being a sitting duck, could be good target practice. It first scared the shit out of me, but once I got my heart beat rate down a bit, I just watched amazed as the Stormcarrier ripped the hell out of my CC. Of course that was end of that career [ 03-22-2002, 05:17: Message edited by: Papi ]
  5. Well, now commanders, what's up! No one has sent the saved games in yet. If I don't get any saved games till weekend, I take it that the effort that Remo and I have put in it is in vain. And this will be the last mission I wrote for Prime Fleet Wargames, period. Go for more information here. [ 03-22-2002, 03:05: Message edited by: Papi ]

Just wondering what my 20 guys are doing at the starbase while others, like the medical officer, are hard at work. Not at the moment, but you never know what SC comes up with XP1 Maybe they're at the station crew lobby having a beer and chasing chicks. =-- OrphEum --=

Have a look here Also, the non-hostile professions of trader, diplomat, commercial and explorer... those mainly for future online play? That's right. Also wondering if there is a way, once probed, to see the surface of a planet in a sector you do not currently occupy. No, you can only view surface of the planets and moons in the region you're currently in. Not to be picky but it seems that after constantly having a few marines pilot my shuttles on mining runs they wreak havok on the SCs. I can't seem to repair them up to 100% unless i myself get in one, dock(starbase) and hit that nifty auto-repair button one gets when in a small ship. The repairs on the SCs in my CC always turn pinkish and the engineers leave the project at around 98%. Did you start repairing in the station? If so, maybe you don't have needed repair parts or minerals to finish the job. Any tips on repairing SC's while en route between objectives? No other than order you engineers to do repairs and make sure you have enough spare parts and repair minerals. How about tips on who to have piloting my SCs? Giving marines toys dosn't seem to be a good idea. You can use your flight engineers to pilot shuttles, I remember someone had tried it and said that it worked better than using marines. =-- Orpheum --=
  9. Tell me about it, this game just won't stop amazing me. (signed: One of the incapable betatesters as one of our friends have expressed it). [ 03-14-2002, 05:40: Message edited by: Papi ]
  10. My son spoiled whole excitement from this one, he had seen it in Subspace forums and told me about before I saw it here (But I'm kind of glad he did )
  11. Time to update the GCV-Silver Lining pic in my sig

  15. Nice shots Mano! I think panther looks cool.
  16. Those are some cool pics, will it really be new Genesis station or were you just playing around with the new model? Badgerius will have one hell of a station to defend if it's new Genesis station [ 03-03-2002, 18:05: Message edited by: Papi ]
  17. My musical adventure started with Hendrix and it hasn't stopped ever since (I missed his concert here in Finland in 1967. I was 13 then and we were supposed to go to amusement park Linnanmäki near Kulttuuritalo the place the concert took place, with my brother . My brother tried to convince me that we should go to Hendrix concert instead of Linnanmäki, but I said that I will tell our father and mother if he didn't take me to the park. If he only had come again year later ) Later came all great bluesmen, Albert King, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy (I've been lucky enough to see all mentioned above live here in Finland), Howling Wolf and so on. Now my BCM soundtrack includes e.g. Hendrix, Miles Davis, Yes, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Lutoslavski, Varese, Sibelius, Tomita, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Nice, Groundhogs and Spirit to name a few. I just noticed that you started an engine that is hard to stop, so I think I'll just shut up for now.
  18. ROFLMAO, boy that's some fun, make him run for his life!
  19. Out of curiosity I counted that you must have played almost 7 hrs/day every single day (on a one single profile and no retries, I assume it makes atleast one more hr/day with all saving loading etc. that I have not counted) after 1.05.00 patch was released (assuming that you are using only saved games from the 1.05.00 patch, like you should, before reporting any bugs). If this is true you need a brake! [ 02-20-2002, 05:12: Message edited by: Papi ]

Yeah, trees are nice touch, now that I know how to implement them in the game, I think I'll include them in the Prime Fleets Wargames mission 2 .
  23. True, I think I'll give it a lift up soon. If you want to give me some ideas, I'd really appreciate that.
