Can you confirm that, since the only source from EB i got is the online store and it is due to the 9th of February Universal Combat also at Amazon

While it has some similarities to age of empires this one stand on its own ground, it is a very good game, and i really mean it (just like at the reviews). Though i never played risk, the game has a Conquer the world campaign in which you have armies to move between countries, special cards, a nice diplomacy setting and several things that gives it the "Rule the World" feel. You will like it if you like RTS games. It's a very good one. Hope that helps! Cheers

I mean, this is just plain Crazy, how worse could it get now? screw Dreamcatcher i say, from the point of view of the gamer that i am i would say that this crap is completely untolerable. SC & team, i really cant find the words inside me to explain how i feel deep inside. We here can only post and support you in this way, i (and i'm sure that most if not all of the community) am sorry that you have to go through all this, it is unbeliable, unfair and CRAZY. The SC once said that creating areas so huge like the ones in BC isn't an easy Task and i dont remember very well but i think it would bring huge stability issues, so maybe there's one reason for building small areas.

Good things do not always come out the way you would like it to be. At least we know that the game is finished , it wont be canned and is ready for gold status. Patience is the key. Cheers!

I dont want to repeat what everyone else has said but i think this is a really really ba situation, i never thought something could lead you guys there. The thing is, that they (DC) should know every bit of the contract Mr. Derek Smart made with them, and they, knowing what they can do and what the cant, do what the cant do. I'm not anyone with a voice in that case but like i use to say (and pardon me if thats a bad traduction from spanish to english) "eye for sight and tooth for teeth" (instead of eye for eye, tooth for tooth) I hope time shapes the tale to your side SC, all this trouble has cost you a lot , enen your own vacation, I hope for the best to happen to you!!! If there are modding tool that allow a goods amount of things to be done then there can be a good modding community. Thanks to the SC releasing GBS-III UC will live alot longer than BCM will. At least thats what has been shown to us with all the games there are right now, just ask yourself could Games like Half-life and BF1942 have survived like they have if they could not be modded? In fact, i had about 50 or so 3ds MAX models that i was planning to add to BCM but since GBSII was not out i dropped it. and used them for creating short space animations, etc. Anyways, UC will rock with everything its GBS_III will be able to give us. What you want is the GBS (game builder system) which will be released (AFAIK) as version 3 in the cd of the upcoming Universal COmbat. Right now only the beta testers have these tools...

i dont know a single bit of marketing, publishing, etc but i dont think we need a short-big-sized movie which not everyone will download with the release date being so close. Maybe you could consider releasing some video clips after you get away of all this "finishing-the-game" madness. Just my thoughts Cheers!

A good epic fleet battle should be great, and also some of the new parts of the game like a ground battle that starts from a naval one, the soldiers deploying on these cool boats, and then some gunships take off from the carrier...something like that. Anyways, whatever you do should be good. Cheers

These computer know-it-all crack-it-all will always find a way through everything that has something to do with copy protection, security and all these terms... and the harder the security is the harder they work, so i guess there's no way around it or at least that's what we have seen in the past years
