I do not want to go to a war, and have to try to kill people, nor have people try to kill me, that is not the point, I will go if I am needed. But the Afgani People were NOT given a choice, they were TOLD, this is the way it shall be. We are there to help GIVE them a choice. If they do not want to fight the Taliban then that is THEIR choice to make. We cannot expect them to fight our war, and it is OUR war, not theirs. By your rational of they are responsible, then YOU are responsible for the Attrocities commited in Vietnam by AMERICAN Soldiers, and there WERE attrocities. You cannot Blame the Afgani people for this. You cannot Kill them, you cannot lock them in Prison. They are not to blame, they are not protecting osama, they are getting the hell out of our way, they are welcoming the Northern Alliance into the cities they have taken. If ONE nuke gets dropped, it undermines All that has been accomplished, this world wide coalition against terrorism will disolve, because then WE will be terrorists. Killing their Civilians will not bring ours back, Killing bin laden will not bring them back, this is NOT about revenge, this is Not about punishment, this is about helping to prevent it from happening by these same people in the future. Will this war succeed? well, we Will destroy the Taliban, and bin laden, will it stop Terrorism? Nope. But it still needs to be fought.

Well, There's alot of benefits... Faster Load times(Due to less Disk Cacheing for one) Smoother game play(for same reason) well... there's alot, but those are the only two that come to mind immediatly.

Yes, they do have some nice toys they are playing with, the Rail Gun, and X-Ray Laser started Development with the Star Wars SDI project I believe. Even the New Infantry Rifle they are working on is pretty Damn impressive. Read an Article on it a couple years ago, in Popular Science(I think). 5.56mm Rifle, with 20mm HE Gernade launcher, the weapon is supposed to be accurate out to 1000 Yards(using the computerized scope/Rangefinder). It was supposed to have some type of helmet hook-up, so the Infantrymen could use it to Fire around corners.

Well, for consoles I own a PS, and an N64. I probably will not get any of The Three new ones(PS2, Gamecube, Xbox). They do have some games I would Like to play for PS2 - MGS2, Soul Reaver2... But if they do a PC port I'll be happy, if not I'll wait till the PS2 sells for $100, and the games for $20. I prefer the PC because as Jaquar pointed out, the PC is upgradable, the console isn't.

Maybe it's time the SC created a new Forum strictly for countdowns?

Civilian casualties are unfortunate. The only thing I have to add is If the U.S. were trying to kill Civilians the death count would be ALOT higher than it is alleged to be. Do accidents happen? For Multiplayer the SC is intending on creating 2 different types of servers... Public servers(eg 16 players). Everybody welcome. The other server will be his Secure Fleet Access Server. With a max of I believe 32 Players. These servers will be open Only to players who are Registered in Fleets.
