  1. IMO, the Sin single-player game was superior (barely) to the HL single-player. The primary appeal of HL is the piles and piles of mods. Get HL, get them all. Diablo. Ick. [ 04-21-2002, 00:49: Message edited by: Urza ]
  2. It was his page??? Oh, it's my 600th. W00t. [ 04-18-2002, 12:24: Message edited by: Urza ]
  3. Uh, is there supposed to be something interesting there? I suppose they took the site down while they repair the damage.
  4. My rule: never buy anything without playing a demo first, unless you're absolutely sure it's going to be good (Civ III, for example). When (and if) a demo is released, I'll probably try it, but the chances of me liking it enough to buy it are slim to nil.

    ahhh tax time

I wonder why Nevada doesn't have income or sales tax...
  7. Fine game, Shogun. Sadly, it's underappreciated in today's market. [ 04-12-2002, 11:45: Message edited by: Urza ]

  9. Here's a few of my all-time favorite movies, in no particular order. Die Hard Ben Hur Leathal Weapon Star Trek II: The Wraith of Khan Star Wars IV: A New Hope Spaceballs Braveheart
  10. quote: combat is excellent and unmatched by other Star Trek games released to date. I beg to differ. The Starfleet Command series was, IMO, the best Star Trek combat game ever made, bar-none. As for BC, I waited to read a few reviews and get some opinions before I forked up the cash. I'm glad I did.
  11. Oh, I desprately need a new computer. I'll never be able to keep a decent frame rate at that level of detail.
  12. Is this actually going to take place? If so, I want in.
  13. Ah, I say, um, that word in exactly 1% of my posts. And when I do, I make sure to get it right.
  14. I didn't know the windows key did anything in DOS.
  15. That only works if the CC is in the same region as the drone. Regardless of where you are, you can use the tactical computer for a percentage readout of how full it is (though you won't know exactly what's in it).
  16. Are you sure? I think you're a week too early.
  17. Seriously, there may be way to do it in windows, keyboard properties, I think. I know I did it somehow, because mine don't work anymore. EDIT: I just looked at it, here's how you do it: Control Panel > Keyboard > Options Tab It's right there. [ 04-06-2002, 13:39: Message edited by: Urza ]
  18. I'm not sure about the technical aspects of it, but he's selling you his cd, registration, EULA, and everything else along with it. You certainly don't have to buy anything else. In other words, he's selling you his right to use XP, and in the process relinquishing his own. If something doesn't work however, call M$ and get it straightened out.
  19. I can make it stop working, but it'll take all the other keys along with with it: Unplug the keyboard!
  20. quote: heh, I wish. Wrong digit mate Oh. I got that date from your ICQ profile. Of course, if you're lying about your age, we understand.
  21. Ahhh, Rattler beat me to it. Happy 37th birthday!
  22. I will comment: Different cloaking devices; you can upgrade them like shields, reactor, etc. rather than requiring an artifact Perhaps a way to upgrade your support craft... A way to upgrade your PTA turrets, perhaps? That's all I can think of at the moment.
  23. Darn, I always miss the important announcements by three days at least. Oh well, it's ready when it's ready, you know the rest.
  24. Well, I hope he comes back. See you in a week.
  25. Um, that last one is this thread. Yes, I know, I am the master of the obvious!
