  1. Waldorf and Statler -- very appropriate!
  2. Grayfox -- you need anything else from me?
  3. Don't be giving the banned/damned any ideas. Besides, you know what usually ends up happening as a result of curiousity don't you?
  4. I watched Dark Fury last night. Pretty good -- it picks up right where Pitch Black left off. Now if only Todd McFarlane would add Riddick to his Movies Maniacs lineup to go with my Snake Plissken action figure, I'd be set.
  5. vampiremenace: Please read this post . It gives you instructions on how to add your system information to your file. Without detailed system information (hardware specs, driver versions) you cannot be helped.
  6. Recipes may be a little unusual for this forum, but I've got to share. My wife and I have a soft spot for sweets, so we tried this out today. Talk about a sugar coma, but it is sooooo good. (Although I'll probably have to add an extra workout in this week!) By the way, we substituted vanilla rum in the sauce which gave it a little extra flavor. Try it!
  7. Chavik, have you reached the Cradle level yet? Creepy!
  8. Reporting in as directed.
  9. Look at this. Yeah, Laura Croft: Cradle of Life's poor returns couldn't possibly have been because of a bad script.
  10. Who do you think should play SC? I vote for Vin Diesel. In Vin's gravelly voice: "Siddown!"
  11. Actually I would prefer a toy line. 3-3/4 scale with a Megaron playset. Think of the possibilities: you could have a playdough accessory for cloneable Resnigs. You could playact an explosive decompression and put the bits back together in the mold/"clone chamber.".
  12. No wonder the James Bond villains could always get a hold of them.
  13. quote: Actually we usually chase them, they are fun to watch, till they actually hit something like the last one here did. You must have some BIG brass ones. I saw a special about stormchasers a couple of Sundays ago. They were trying to lay down sensors in the path of the tornado and the guy managed to get one down 10 seconds before it was swept up into the funnel cloud. I guess the readings from it gave them some of the best data to date. Personally, I can't imagine chasing a twister without copious amounts of beer involved.
  14. Neogray, my wife is going to hate you. She's already pretty steamed at Derek.
  15. Very cool LIS. I wish they would hurry up and develop my phaser. Next jerk that cuts me off in traffic -- zap!!!!!!!!!

    Batman Begins

And here are some new pics of Christian Bale in the batsuit. We only have 13 months to go!!!
  17. This may seem like fanboy stuff, but take the time to download the second trailer. IMHO, it's quite the setup for a decent movie. Not that it's likely such a project could ever get off the ground, but I'd pay to see it!
  18. Wow! This has been on my wish list for some time. It certainly looks better than War of the Ring.

    Batman Begins

quote:Did you read DK2. I really dislike it. I guess becuase Frank Miller doesn't like Superman, and the art was crappy. Agreed. I thought it betrayed the ending if DK1. I heard a rumor that Miller was having some alcohol problems at the time which delayed the release of issues two and three. Very sad. I think I just read somewhere that he retired.

    Batman Begins

First pics of the new Batmobile are here . Reminds me of the Batmobile in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. [ 04-20-2004, 08:22 AM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

    Signature Update

    Look good gentlemen?
  22. quote: Jesus....do anyone here hasnt been in the military? from here looks like is a tradition to get in the army at least one time in your live. Not to go off-topic, but no military experience here (car accident took care of that). Still, I have to make sure the vets are taken care of when it comes to VA issues. My dad and my father-in-law (both Vietnam vets) would kick my ass if I didn't!
  23. quote: a bat'telh? how much you wanna sell it for??? lol. That's my baby! It's made from 1/4 inch stainless steel -- not aluminum like the ones you see at conventions. I picked it up a few years from a small sword maker in Florida (Golden Age Productions) who later had to quit selling them because Paramount jumped on him for copyright infringment. Can you imagine the look on an intruder's face if you came running at him with one of those? Even if he had a gun, he'd probably be too busy crapping himself to pull it out.
  24. Ok, here's mine: 9 MM Stainless Steel Beretta 92F with the pre-gun law 15 round clips Ruger .357 Magnum(I sold my Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum. Sigh, I miss that gun.) Master Replicas Type II Phaser Oh, I almost forgot - 4 foot Klingon bat'telh
  25. quote: but remember the old addage "its not the size of the tool..." "But how hard you can jam it through their head."
