  1. Nope, the ENM enters the stage in mission 5 of the 2nd tour. (TOD2 M5/5) No need to worry about it yet. (It's of no use anyway until your RO learns how to put on her glasses. ) P.S. Oh, and I'll just be blunt and ask. Incase you are playing the freeware version, are you by any chance playing in debug mode? If so, you won't get the chance to nick those artifacts from the ships. Then search the forum for the cdrom check issue.
  2. Badge!!! For the second time, it's "Guarddogs". You don't want to see their fangs ,do you? ... Not that I have any control over them anymore ofcourse. Congrats to you too Hugo. You've come back only reccently, but you know Prime from early on. Won't be much of a prob. [ 11-15-2001: Message edited by: Rico Jansen ]
  3. quote:There are way to many Terran's!! (most been terran/millatry).No, there are way to few other-race AEs. During the BC3K days Galcom and Insurgent AEs were the only ones allowed. As BCM started rolling, that rule/policy got expanded to allow all the races and caste combinations. But that doesn't mean Galcom and the Insurgents fleets should start a weight-loss program just because it isn't fair to the other races. If you want to be a Credian, go right ahead. Stick it into your sig. But if you want to set up the Credian Military you've atleast got to get things straight with the SC. It's not as simple as starting an indie company, or have your ideas about starting a community of raiders. It has to fit into the official stories (not neccessarily the RP forum ) and the SC needs to be convinced you can pull this through to the end. I say, put your ideas on paper and present it to the SC. And besides, isn't it way to early to start feeling left alone. Nobody has BCM running yet. (not counting the demos) There will be others in due time. P.S. Watch what you write. "Millatry" is not english. You just hear it like that. "Military" is. 4. Advil, if you ask me then this post would've fit right in in the "Logo's" thread. No need to have created another topic. We're really anxious here about board clutter, you know.
  5. Cmdr Rico Jansen reporting in as Cmdr Jaguar's replacement. Cmdr Jaguar has left his command position on personal motives. He will remain a member of Delta wing, but will not have command aspirations anymore. I look forward to work together with Delta Wing Staff, and hope to get to know all of Delta's members in the not so distant future. p.s. Can anybody explain what that wing motto is all about? "mars gravidus" ... "Mars attracts us"???
  6. Ok, misjudgement on my part. Expected he wanted both at a considerable level. But in hindsight, I see no reason to deduce that.
  7. Ok, understandable. I mean, I haven't read ED yet, but there's nothing wrong with personal reasons. And that last part puts it into a entirely different perspective.
  8. quote:(How about those desk jobs Rico ) Good one, Papi. Oh well, I'm sure that 'carrier' is strong enough for the size I had in mind. quote:i need some pointers. i'm deciding between the Gammulan fleet and the Prime. i want both damnit!!!!!The only thing that's pointing to that, is a sign to the airlock, I'm afraid. It's a no-go. Conflict of interests. I'm sure you can understand that. [ 11-13-2001: Message edited by: Rico Jansen ]
  9. quote:Let it be known. I HATE Vesperons.Ahh, so that's what those political screws-ups are that SC attributed to Galcom. But Badgerius, weren't RP stories in essence un-official. I believe the SC condoned those discussions but it should not be considered fact just for the sake of it being written. Or am I wrong?
  10. /RP From: Cmdr Rico Jansen, 16 Squadron Leader, Gamma Wing, Prime Fleet To: All members of Gamma Wing. Subject: Drinks are on me!!! After misterious rumors about the demotion on personal motives of Cmdr Jaguar, Wingleader of Delta Wing, I have been offered to take his place earlier this day. Despite the fact having expressed my concerns about unbalanced staff/member placements throughout the fleet at an earlier instance, I have deemed it neccessary to take up upon this offer in the best interests of the Fleet. So I will hereby transfer squadron command of the 1st back to Wing Staff, for them to assign a commander in my place. I expect Cmdr. Hugo Pinheiro to be best suited for the job. He is a long standing member in Prime with enough experience to manage the task. I have much faith in him. Eventhough I will be leaving soon, that does not mean I will be lost. I will fight alongside you for the great cause Galcom stands for. Peace and stability in the Terran quadrant. And Mars is only hours away from Genesis. I welcome you to my future abodeu, Starpath. Launch slot taken, breaching orbit. Cmdr Rico Jansen, Out. RP/
  11. Packed my bags and have a launch slot in two hours. All I got left is saying the ladds "good hunting" and ring the bell in the squad bar. Drinks are on me. ETA in 5 hours. (don't worry, I'll stay sober)
  12. Depends on how far back you want to go, IIRC Amtrak and others weren't doing very well some years ago. Crashes being the common keyword.
  13. Email discussions? Yucky. And does that prevent leakage? Don't think so. You're still going to write with people that might oneday decide their (RP-)genes don't fit right, and change race/caste. (Or add race/caste) There's nothing we can do about it, I think. We'll just have to hope they won't missuse that information. And make a policy out of it that we (Prime) wil not use it, when it comes to us.
  14. Putting it in front of a jumppoint/wormhole and watch the fireworks comming out. (assuming you can collide with it)
  15. Ok, so I was premature. And I don't blame you if do. In all those years an official Gammulan fleet has been a no-no. But now one can join them. Totally natural wanting to be a bad guy. Remo!?!, just by your side will do.
  16. Great, another one. Remo!, start getting that secure-password cookbook open again. Think we're going to need it soon.
  17. Problem seems to be fixed. Can find "radar" again.
  18. He can allways add to it that it is a quote of Homer. I'm sure SC has no problem with that.
  19. quote:The biggest issue is the fact that my ThinkPad has an ATI Radeon Mobility 16MB in it, which the SC has nothing good to say about. No, he said whatever those driver cooks at ATI come up with taste like crude oil. (Or words to that effect.) The hardware was pure rocket science, if I'm not mixing up sentences.
  20. Can somebody confirm my suspections. I tried searching all BCM code related sections on finding "radar" but it kept returning zero findings. Also searching for "profit" in Misc. caste and race returned zero findings. And it should be there, I wrote that word within days ago. Check for yourself in Economics 101, page 3, date 11-9-2001 [ 11-10-2001: Message edited by: Rico Jansen ]
  21. [RP] quote:I doubt Delta would have anything to do with an attack on Gammula.Tssk!! Getting all full of yourself now, ain't yah.[/RP]
