    ISS FLEET LOG FILES

Captains Log: Location: Vicinity of Cyron VI Date: 12/01/10 Report: We are currently extracting from an operation to tap key Gammulan data repositories. The information we have collected is expected to reveal hundreds of counter-intelligence operatives. We also may have some information which will bring to light the possible Gammulan involvement in Insurgent operations and intelligence. [ 11-29-2002, 01:08 PM: Message edited by: Rip ]
  9. FULL NAME: Richard Ripberger STATUS: Active SPECIES: Terran RANK: Commander POSITION: Commanding Officer GCV-Space Ghost DATE OF BIRTH: 11th October 2980 PLACE OF BIRTH: Pensacola, FL., USA (EARTH - SOL) DESCRIPTION: 5'11" , 60 kg, has dark red hair, beard and blue eyes. HISTORY: Richard Ripberger was born in Pensacola, FL. USA on Earth. He was the son of legendary computer scientist James Ripberger who provided for his early education. Later he attended Galcom Academy (Mars) in the year 2999. Graduated from the academy valedictorian on the 27th January 3003. Served as Research Engineer on numerous vessels were he demonstrated amazing skills in numerous scientific fields. This resulted in his transfer to ISS/CIOPS where he has spent the remainder of his career. Commander Rip has spent the majority of his career commanding vessels that are not flagged on deep covert operations. He has excelled, but has displayed severe authority problems that have thwarted further advancement. The most publicized accolade of Commander Rip is when while monitoring signals off Crystar Commander Rip and his crew became aware of an immpending attach on Jupiter. Commander Rip and his crew embarked on a trek to warn GALCOM that involved changing ships 27 times while being aggresively pursued. The details of which are now required reading for all fleet search, evasion, and rescue courses. With a little discipline and humility he may one day be supreme commander, without it he may face a firing squad.

  15. I used to supervise a fiber optic cable burial system that was on a large ship from a company called Dock Express. When we would be working over the burial system we would normally dock in Rotterdam (refill the Heineken lockers). Every weekend I was off to Amsterdam. Great city to party in , but not to drive in (or park )! [ 12-28-2001: Message edited by: Rip ]
  16. Not that I know anything since I'm a noob, buut I think you do fine. It seems tobe a daunting task with all that haas gone on lately. I just hope it settles down soon so we can get into some serious RP and eventually MP. BTW I'm hoping some RP will come in response to my LOG postings. I'm trying to give some history to my character and provide a reason for my getting a Nightstar instead of a Starion. Also of not being a department head. I thought since the roster showed 3 dept head slots in CIOPS that I would be assigned one and stated as much in my first log. Getting drunk, getting my butt kicked by PVT. Shaddox, and being thrown in the brig would be a good start. I just didn't want to take to much creative direction with other peoples AE. Hopefully there will be more discussions about CIOPS in MP soon as well. I've got a ton of ideas and would like you guys to squash the stupid ones before I voice them in public. Where are you in relaation to Rotterdam and Amsterdam. I could tell Dutch party stories day and night!

    ISS FLEET LOG FILES

Personal Log: Wow that was some kinda wind down. I don't remember everything, but I'm sure there will be some Station Security officer reminding me soon enough. I remember having a "discussion" with a few jarheads and before I knew it things degraded. There was one particular Private that really cleaned my clock. His last name started with an S. I wonder how much authority if not money I'll loose over this one. Maybe if I'm sweet to the guards they will let me out, these detention cells are unncomfortable. Hey! Hey! Are you jarheads deaf and stupid. See if you can't get someone who can read and write down hear to authorize my release. I've got a ship to command and a war to help win by god. Don't you know who I am! [/ENDLOG] [ 02-01-2002, 17:55: Message edited by: Rip ]

    ISS Roster

If it ends up I can't have a Starion, then I'm leaning towards a Nightstar. What does everyone think? I don't see many of them, but it seems to favor my approach. Am I missing a glaring weakness, or does no one choose it just because it's ugly?
