Well thought Id add my penny worth (as we Brits say LOL). I was quite worried by the poor guy trying to impersonate anther (Epsilon_5) and trying to start a flame war, he must have some issues I think he needs to work through, probably feels persecuted and disliked by others, thats why he try to engage with others even when he knows what he is saying is nothing but the result of wanting to feel part of a group, quite sad really that he feels the only way he can be part of something special is try (in his mind) to degrade and destroy it. I deal with people like this all through my working week and left uncheck it the beginning of serious problems, as someone said on the review board that guy needs help maybe I ought to offer my services, I have a spare bed in the mental health unit I manage. HI SC Hope your feleing a little less stressed today m8, i've got a question about save game files, i read somewhere else in the forum that 1 or 2 people have had a slight problem with the save game aspect, i myslef seem to be have a problem around the quick save option, let me explain , i use the quick save option to gaurd aginst the ocasional CTD , but ive noticed that fter using the quick save option a number of times in sucession (not sure of the exact amount will look into that apsect)when i try loading from resume i get a .SAV file format error , are u aware of any other reports of this ?.....i have repoduced this twice , where upon re-loading it locks up and displys .SAV file format error.... Hi All Just wanted to know if any of u guys (and mabye girls) have used Microscrew Sidwinder Game voice with BCM and what your experiances was with it ?... Okay here goes the Report... Installed the new SB driver, then re-installed the patch , played for about a hour then a CTD when asessing certain systems as in Navcom , although if i quick save adn then use the other sytem of going to Navcam via tacops , again no major problem....... Mr_Paris

The download page says all patches must use 8.1, but did the first patch not require it? Just musing as to why patch 1 is solid and the RC9 patch isn't? Hopefully, tonight I'll run without a CTD and prove that this is a driver issue. Mr. Paris, please download the new drivers and let me know if this helps. Regards. I was thinking , i have read a lot of posts flaming the newbie , for little newbie type acts , and i think we have been getting a bit of a bashing of late so i think we need to have a "be nice to the newbie day"........after all in replt to a previuos post i think we should rember where we all came form dont u ?.... One thing I’ve noticed is that Tempers run very. high on this board now I can understand the SC will always be running at a high level of agitation (its to do with adrenaline levels and keeping the creative juices following and maybe us Newbies lol ) ......But I ask u the "old-Timers" is it anyway to be treating your future Comrade in arms ? from blasting them for simple spelling mistakes to reminding them in very un-polite terms about how to post ?...c’mon this is suppose to be fun , now we all get a little stressed when the new title was released but lets face it , these newbs (myself included) are your wingmen of tomorrow and some of us are quite good iam sure , do u really want to piss us of to a point of either :- 1. Blowing u out of the frigging universe on a constant basis when MP is out.. 2. Getting us so pissed at you guys we leave until the BCM community whittles down to a meagre few? MR-PARIS More Info :- If u acsess a system like Tacops and then navigate to Navtron Computer and set course then back to tacops u DO NOT get the CTD when u log off from Tacops..... MR-Paris

Hi SC, I seem to be having a CTD problem specifcally around acessing the Navcomputer when in flight , if i try to change a destination i get a CTD, now if i acsess the Nav computer but do not selct a new destination and click log of no problem , yet when i chage destination and then click log of i get the CTD,(on a trade run from earth to Pluto) strange eh ? ive reproduced this 5 + times, i have the save game if u want it......i have all the latest drivers for my Video card and sound card ........ HI SC and others... Apllied the new patch (1.0.02 RC5) cant actually see if i get the CTD with the marines/login now as after aprox 15 to 20 min when activating a key combo (like alt-L for logistics) i get a CTD , yet i left BCM runing over night parked in orbit , and didnt have a CTD at all....... Mr_Paris

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Been flying for about a hour now no sighn of the intruder/login CTD , but i seem to be getting random CTD now.....hmmm a strange one this is..... over to u SC.... Mr_Paris

"Hey guys; I posted this error before, and was told to go through the uninstall/reinstall download new patch/use new patch process, which I did, and I had been playing almost constantly since then. I know its the staes but u could try ringing them and asking about ur order status although when i did that last week they basically told me they dont send confirmation of order untill despatch , u could of course check ur credit card (if u payed by that means)to assertain if they have debited your account...... Ordered two copies about two weeks ago , recieved confirmation that order has shipped today , so i guess u can work out from that , as they did say they were shipping on a first come first served basis. (.as in from date of pre-order).. Mr_Paris.

Thanks for the Prompt reply (now thats what u call customer service )... Basically they said the orders were being shipped on a first come first served basis and that most of the units were being shipped over the next week , although as they couldnt check my order status im bascally left in the dark .....not sure if my order has been accepted or if the process has gone through , as a precaution i sent another oder through the other day (will make a great a xmas pre for my Bro)...iam willing to look at other options if anyone can suggest one , (aprt from flying over to purchase a order lol) ...PS i emailed them twice SC asking about my order confirmation , but alas without sucsess...
