  1. Ok, I've been boarded a couple times and had a few officers die. It seems whenever I'm boarded and have an officer or officers die Kendrick is the first. If you ask me Kendrick is the sole most important thing on my ship, I always manage to get myself a little damaged. Another thing, is the SC going with a popular movie theme? The black guy always dies first, or is this just freaky coincidence. (NOTE: This is in no way anti-racial or anything) Why can't Resnig die, he's the most annoying, he's the one who forgets to tell me that I've got intruders on board in the first place. If it is going with that movie theme then its kinda funny, I had wondered when a game would have this kind of theme that's just stupid. Is anyone else having this wierd incident?

EDIT: P.S. I wasn't sure whether to put this post in BCM Fun stuff, or General Discussion, so if an Admin feels it belongs in Fun Stuff feel free to move it.

  2. So far just about all I've seen with the fleets are military fleets. I haven't really seen any UCV fleets (mainly raider fleets). In my opinion the raider caste is, for me, the most profitable. Between illegal item trade and destroying and disabling transports(easy as pie), I can earn a buttload of money:D. So this is to all raiders and assassins out there, lets get a guild going.

I'm not saying that linux is crap, I personally like linux. But xierxior is right, linux was not created for gaming, it was created for business. If a gamer wants linux installed on his computer he can do a dual boot system (although I think a Linux/Windows Dual Boot may require 2 HD). Personally, I'd like to see a good competitor come out of the rubble that Microsoft has created of other buisinesses through the years and beat the pants off of Windows, which I'm sure can be done. To all linux gamers out there, if you really want to play games then go get a copy of Windows 98se, because it is the current gaming industry standard OS and I know for sure that it is compatible in a Linux/Windows dual boot system. (God that was one helluv'a runon sentence ) It really is a pity that loki closed down, really, but in a market that is based on Windows its kind of hard to compete.

  4. I thought his review was pretty good. He's right about the niche thing, we are kind of a too much time to kill bunch. I've actually thought about getting a second computer just to have BCM running non stop while I'm at home. Seriously though, out of all the reviews so far, this is probably the best one.

  5. Well, I'd like to start learning to script in GBS. My problem is that GBS-II isn't out and I'm running Win2k so I can't get the Free BC3k version working. Is there any way to force BC3k to install in Win2k. I had it running on Win98 before I upgraded to 2k, but I don't feel like reinstalling 98. Are there any other options other than making a dual boot system (as thats all I see on the option list for me right now)?
