I found this out when I was sleeping. It just popped into mind and I got up and tried it, and damn, what a lifesaver! If your a large ship, (stormcarrier) take your AE out and put him in a shuttle. Tractor your CC and drag it to wherever you want! This is way faster than using the hyperdrive on your CC. I think this is so helpfull!

Questions 1. How do you get new fighters after they have been destroyed? Ive tried going to stations and buy them but cant. What am i missing? 2. Ive noticed something strange about enemy fighters that are disabled. I think that i can bring it to a station and get exp. or money, but sometimes i just want to destroy it, definatly if it is emitting an SOS, but lasers bounce right off of it and missles do know damage. Just wondering whats going on with that. Im still quite a newbie round here but i think i found something out. If you are a large slow ship, like the stormcarrier, take your AE out and put him in a shuttle. Tractor your CC and drag it around in hyperspace. This is much faster than using the hyperdrive on your CC.

With a few weeks of experimenting I found that the GAM/MIL Stormcarrier works best for me. But now,I'm still needing to know these few things... 1.Why do some forums talk about killing Resnig, then cloning. Does this help in some way, or does he just deserve to die? 2.Just a thought, but I wanted to know why when the shields drop and the ship starts taking damage, how come the armor and Hull drop at the same rate? I would think armor would protect the ship until it is severly damaged. 3.Is there a way to direct marines after a beam down to move in a group to attack, instead of telling them one at a time to attack using tacops. 4.Can marines be sent to enemy ships? SC, you have such a great commitment to this game with all the posts on the forums and the many patches to make this already great game better. Thanks!
