I should add that i play it on a P233mmx with Win95a starting from an MS-DOS box. It ran too fast on my AthlonXP2000+!

Out of curiosity i got a copy of BC3000AD V1.00 from Ebay, patched it up to V1.08a (can't find the 1.08b that is meant to be the last official one). Overall much like V2.0 but without as many CC commands and no fleet command & control functions. One surprising thing is the cool installing game screen and in game menu screen that are MUCH better than anything since IMHO

i have two fighters with dead pilots and they won't move so i send shuttles to tow them to my CC (or i get them in my CC tractor beam) trouble is i can't get them back into CC to repair/recrew them. Once when i was trying it said do you want to retrieve and i said yes, BUT i had launch control disabled because of intruders so they weren't retrieved and i was never able to get the retrieve option to display again.

Emmett, I had a similar problem with corruption in the drop down menus but it stopped after i changed the >CONFIGURATION screen bit depth to 16.
