When the crew gets really hungry they will go off duty and visit the galley to eat. A way to force-feed your crew (Action Messing) is to place them in medibay.

today on s4 with Reed, Khan and Pugwash. Pugwash and me joined up to lay an ambush for Reed at the Foron side of the gate to Ralean. While I was visible, Pugwash wasn't. Reed had the sense to come through the gate under cloak. These are intens moments if you are playing bunny like me. I saw a discharge at my six but couldn't engage it in fear of hitting pugwash. Then I heard a loud boom. And I pressed ACCEPT. I got back on s4 to take the bunny business one step further. I dressed myself up as a bunny. Choosing GAM/MIL Resnig (UCV Paul) does that to ppl. Needless to say I got killed fast. But when the first volley ended and I could asses my damage, take evasive actions etc, a message appeared on the top of my screen. "Resnig is not on the bridge" I was on the floor laughing and don't know what happened next. This alone was worth 19,95!

Training: my DreadX server is still available. Just say when you want it up for private training. Communication: I think we need a chat session for this. Using this board is too slow and not secure. When you have a tractor-beam. Pulling is easier than pushing.

How can we improve? Training, Practice and a secure line of communication. BTW. If this ball needs to get rolling, I'm more than willing to help with some of the pulling it takes.

I usually drop out of airplanes towards the face of the earth (and I haven't missed yet). Dropping of the face of the earth sounds like extreme basejumping to me and I'm not into that yet. Had to leave on short notice and didn't have time to say goodbye. Will get a word through via a friend if something like this happens again in the future. For now, it's good to be back. I've placed a comfi chair in front of my pc, made myself some excellent coffee and I'm going to read through this forum today. Trying to find out what it is I have to do besides changing my sig to the "new" format.

Just got home. Reporting in. Got to execute operation "sleeping beauty" right now. See (Read) you again tomorrow and when I'm up to speed you'll find me in mp again.

Whoo, this thread really took of. Extinct_Reptilia, the russians have some long range AAM's (well, missiles; they look like small planes). Some of the R-73 family have ranges above 100 km and the "RH-41 AR" tops the bill at about 175 km. And on rearfiring weaponsystems: The thing that attacks you from behind is probably an anti-air missile and not another fighter so the target you're aiming for is significantly smaller and more (maybe too) difficult to hit.

Looking at the missiles (and their capabilities) in RL, I must say that the missiles in 3030 are less potent then their RL-"predecesors" and theirfore less usefull. But when you consider game-play, using a missile is actually letting the computer do the thinking and aiming for you and this is probably not what you want in the long run. Compare using a OTS to "getting down and dirty" to take out a base. And if the missiles are too strong they could easily dominate the game and you would hardly use your gun. Personally I would love to see more missile-features in the game, but that's something for the "what could have been"-thread. [ 04-01-2004, 11:15 AM: Message edited by: dreadx ]

After playing a few seconds I started grinning. My Violon handled like a school bus and not the sportscar I was used to in BCMG. I like it. On Hardwar and UC: Both games are played by ppl who can answer the question: "What shall I do next?" all by themselves.
