  1. whoa...I didn`t realise you weren`t allowed to talk in general terms about UC...apologies...but even if it reaches the UK I`ll hang fire on buying it...as I don`t like seeing anyone screwed by big companies when they`ve put a lot of work into their project, but i wish you luck, and hope it all comes together as it should...and if it all goes well I`ll buy it at the correct price....

  3. quote: it would be the right thing to do. If not the smart one..... shaking in my boots mate!!! I agree that a lot of younger people are dick heads...a lot of forums are indeed not worth bothering with just don`t agree with he way you choose to describe them.... ...I`m guessing we won`t even see the "cheap release of UC in the UK then derek?" as soon as you`re in legal proceedings all sales will be halted yes?

  5. errr...I`m guessing you`ve got a different slant on the term "special needs" ?? over here it refers to people who need help for problems not of their own making, you seem to use the term as a very strange way of showing your "superior" intelect, (certainly not your spelling!!!).... maybe I choose my words a bit more carefully and thoughtfully than you perhaps??

  7. well as I only recieved it last night...been away working...i`ve no idea what`s on pages 49-50 I assumed the original poster meant a seperate key card like most flight sims used to ship with, oh well....yeah its a UK release, I live in err...England...lol....and it is indeed a dvd case (better description I agree) with an outer cardboard sleeve, its a pity the system map on the reverse of the case jacket hadn`t been included in larger format..it looks very nicely done....
  8. bought it from a company called Special Reserve in the UK and cost £18.99 ..about $34.00.....it was advertised as "brand new" and certainly looks as tho it is....its in one of the smaller plastic game holders , as opposed to the old cardboard box style, and it has a cardboard outer sleeve which the plastic holder slots into, the star map i mentioned is printed on the reverse side of the main title sheet, in other words you don`t see it until you open the game up and its behind where the manual and CD are...the cardboard outer sleeve is identical to the cover on the plastic box, same graphics etc. I`ve registered it so you should have the key code if thats any use to find more details...so is the key sheet missing?
  9. I`ve just recieved my brand new copy of BCMG....there`s no keyboard sheet included...just the CD, and manual and a nice looking star chart thats been put in a silly place and is way too small, print wise, to be useful...should I have recieved a key sheet?? would be very nice to have...
  10. basically `cos the thread seemed dead and buried...so by putting up a new post it would attract attention from anyone using the glasses...i.e. rekindle interest....didn`t know i had to justify every post and wording within that post..... I would have thought it much easier and less effort just to leave my post up and let anyone who wants to reply positively to do so...if no one replies then it dies its own lonely little death
  11. just been reading an old thread about using e-dimensional glasses with BCMG....seems a few people were impressed with them, just wondered if anyones still using them and if so what refresh rate do they have to have to remove the "flicker" effect?
  12. never have guessed you might have biased view. to be honest eye candy takes second place to gameplay as far as i`m concerned, which is what I meant when i said I`ve been playing the BCMG demo instead of X2 i.e. the learning curve of BCMG made me think that theres got to be a good game at the end of this if it takes time and effort to learn how to play it....wasn`t really after a comparison with X2 to be honest, as you say chalk and cheese, just after comments from people who`ve been playing BCMG game for a while, also wondered if maybe I should wait and get UC if it is due out soon in europe? do you have a release date yet?
  13. hello all...happy crimbo I`ve landed on this forum via a bit of a strange route, I`d just got x2 the threat...hang on !!... and had to do a format of system and before I started playing the game again I remembered this game (i.e. BCMG) and wanting to check it out, so I did a search and found this forum, then d`loaded the demo BCM, and really liked the depth of gameplay that seems to be in the game, I`ve read quite a few posts and noticed you guys don`t take any prisoners when answering badly worded/stupid posts , so hopefully I`ll get this sounding right....at the moment I`ve found one copy of BCMG for sale, probably gonna order in anycase but wondered if you can pass a few comments on the gameplay, and how good the immersion factor is, I can tell by the demo that the learning curve is steep, and hope that it will be worth taking the leap....judging by what I`ve read it seems that it will be, I`m certainly no noob to games, but happily admit that this game looks like it puts the noobie cap firmly back on your head for a while at least ..lmao....so basically I suppose all I`m asking is.....how good is BCMG??
