They need to make sure to get Sean Connery back as his father too. Then when the Nazi's say 'Dr. Jones', you can have 3 people respond with a 'yes'.
  2. So the big news is that Lucas is now devoting himself full-time to writing and producing "Indiana Jones 4." Steven Spielberg, of course, will direct. Lucas told me that he's got a script now from Jeff Nathanson, and he's tweaking it. That won't go on forever, he assured me, and filming will occur before Harrison Ford goes into a nursing home Woohoo. "Indiana Jones and the Dentures of Doom"
  3. You two do realize that you are a year late in responding to this roll call, don't you? Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe we are doing roll-calls directly in the forums anymore. Go to the fleet database and answer roll call there if you haven't already.

Otherwise he is conflicting his own morals. So if I consider murder wrong, but somebody breaks into my home, threatens the life of myself and my family, and I end up killing them in self defense, then I MUST accept and admit that I murdered someone and what I did was wrong, otherwise I would be conflicting with my own morals??? Sorry, but not everything in life is black and white. There are many shades of gray.
  5. He probably caught it the other day when it listed everybody (even Supreme Cmdr) as unregistered. Later that day the board was down for maintenance. Maybe he assumed at that point that he banned. When I first saw it I thought everybody had been mass-banned , but I could still post so I figured it was BB issues.

Children are 1000% more likely to be killed in or by a car. Try again. Oh yes, your utter rightness is washing in my eye, or whatever it is that you said. I use that all time when arguing points. All I usually get is either silence or a bitter retort from vehicle owners because they see it as me threatening their transportation. You leave my car alone!!!!!!! (oh wait, I take the bus....nevermind )

Simple, the US needs France to reprocess its spent fuel Nah, It's just a good decision on our part. If they succeed, then we get our product. If they fail, no more France. It's a Win-Win situtation.

  10. I was looking in the stores for a copy of X2 (I could get it from D2D, but I decided I'd rather just have the boxed version) and I couldn't find it, but I did find a copy of Freelancer so I decided to buy it and give the full version a try. It doesn't have some of the features X2 has, but I think the multiplayer ability will make up for it.
  11. quote:Into the Woods, Into the Woods PAINESVILLE, Ohio (AP) ÔÇö An animal rescuer who abandoned 35 kittens in two parks has been sentenced to a night in the woods without food or shelter. Painesville Municipal Court Judge Michael A. Cicconetti, known for handing out unusual punishments, sentenced Michelle M. Murray to the spend the cold night alone when she begins her 15-day jail sentence next week. "How would you like to be dumped off at a Metropark late at night, spend the night listening to the coyotes coming upon you, listening to the raccoons around you in the dark night, and sit out there in the cold not knowing where you're going to get your next meal, not knowing when you are going to be rescued?" the judge asked. "That's what you're going to do." Murray, 25, pleaded guilty last month to abandoning domestic animals, a second-degree misdemeanor. The kittens were recovered but many had upper respiratory infections and nine died. She apologized and has previously said she was experiencing family problems when she dumped the kittens. Murray must report to jail Wednesday where a park ranger will drop her off at a remote location. Cicconetti previously sentenced a man who called an officer a pig to stand on a city sidewalk for two hours in a pen next to a 350-pound hog along with a sign reading, "This is not a police officer."
  12. I haven't tried Hunter-Killer, but I do have Enigma: Rising Tide and Silent Hunter III to curb my submarine cravings.
  13. I downloaded the demo for X2 a few days ago, and I have to say that I am leaning more towards X2 than Freelancer now. To me, it looks like X2 has a much more complicated menu system and the ships are harder to control, but the ability to purchase and build your own stations is pretty cool. Also X2 seems to have a larger variation of jobs to accept. Not having the multiplayer is a drawback, though. Originally I was looking at Freelancer for the 1st person ship control or Homeworld 2 for the build-your-own-fleet ability, but it looks like X2 combines the best of both worlds.
  14. Now tell us the truth SC. You wrote both those reviews, didn't you? just kidding......don't hit me Amazing. It sounds like those guys actually took the time to learn the controls and menus and see the game for what it is. It's not your ordinary run-around-killing-everthing-in-sight-frag-fest, and that's what makes it fun. It won't hold your hand, but also it won't hold you back.
  15. Well I downloaded the demo for Freelancer just to give it try before I decide, and I have to say that it is fun so far. It gave me a few missions from the start of the game to try, and when I was done, instead of saying thanks for playing and please buy the retail version to try anything else, it just let me go ahead and explore, taking on new missions at the bars if I wanted. I think the demo alone could keep me busy for a while. Thanks for all your replies. It helps out knowing what others with some of the same tastes think of games. Unreal & Return to Na Pali - Great games Unreal 2 - Not as good as the first but OK (IMO) Max Payne 1 - Loved it Farcry - Loved it, played it a few nights ago
  16. I'm looking for a new game to play, but I don't want to spend more than $20. There are a few I have been considering. I've searched the forums here and read reviews at other places, and they tend to get mixed results. So if you could pick one game from the list below, what would you pick and why? Also if you have other suggestions feel free to list them. 1. Tribes : Vengeance (I've had no experience with the series) 2. Homeworld 2 (Played the demo. It was pretty fun) 3. Freelancer (Never played, just read reviews and it sounds fun) 4. X2 - The Threat (I've had no experience with the series) 5. Thief 3 (Payed Thief 2, great game)

  18. Sorry, I didn't didn't mean to be impolite by not answering, I've just been busy the last few days. I am going to pass on the challenge until I get some more practice. They way that you and marc wiped out me, firestar, and casey the other night told me I'm not quite ready to take on a duel yet.
  19. quote:Originally posted by nomad: It is sad, but I have come to the conclusion that unless the US suffers once something like 30 million casualties on its own soil, most americans will never understand the european allergy to resort to violent methods. And maybe after sustaining 126,000 casualties during WWI and 405,000 casualties during WWII the US has figured out that sitting on ones waiting for the problem to take care of itself generally isn't the solution...
  20. Sorry, maybe my post was misleading. I DID see it on Amazon's site, but since SC says he never gave it to them to distribute, I'm sure they either made a mistake or were misled by Dreamcatcher. I wouldn't wait for them to send it to you cause who knows what you'll get...
  21. Well I'm sure curious how he was able to get registered in S.C.I.D because every time I have tried to join the last 2 days using the password I got from Teknocack Prime I get an invalid password error.
  22. quote:Originally posted by Casey: Nevermind it says unavailable..when you go to the link..My mistake. I looked at it a week or two ago and it said it was available and would take 2-3 weeks to either ship or arrive (can't remember which).
  23. I experienced the same problem late Saturday night while playing online with Casey and Firestar (believe it was Firestar). All three of us would be in orbit. One of us would then go down to a mission zone on the planet, and as soon as that happened we would lose connection with each other. It would look like we were still playing on the server, but sending messages didn't work, we couldn't see any movement updates. If one of us got out and refreshed the server list, it wouldn't show anybody on it. We also experienced it if one of us left our CC while in space.
