  1. Well I take real offense when people quote me incorrectly Steve. If you are going to quote people do the homework.

As for you... I think it is great that you are calling attention to the fact that Bush is doing nothing to improve domestic security by enacting real immigration policies in this country. I for one am sick of the man pandering to latinos on this very issue. Bush seems to have the impression that unchecked immigration and law breaking is good for business. Unreal. He wants to put willing workers with willing employers... so our borders remain unprotected. Doesn't this piss anybody but me off?

Oh well like I said I'm the last REAL Republican.

Peace... and I'll calm myself... but I do hope that Soback has some integrity and retracts his comments.

  3. Hey man... YOURE NOT QUOTING ME... GET YOUR CRAP STRAIGHT dude! Ok?! Too tough to keep track of who you're quoting? The "then" quotes were STREETS. You did manage to get the "now" quotes right... imagine that.

As for someone coming into my house, I am free to shoot the bastard dead if I believe I am in danger. You break into my house and I'm there I am within my right to shoot you dead. Especially if I take one of my kitchen knives and place it in your cold dead hand.

As for being proactive on that flight I didn't say they needed to ASSAULT anyone. I said they should have searched the toilet, broke up the cadre of "terrorists" at the front and back of the plane that were "plotting" and made sure that they did not allow these guys to COORDINATE themselves. I said it might have gotten me killed but I would have been walking the aisle saying my legs were cramping or something while KEEPING A GOD DAMN EYE ON THESE GUYS.

Now... if you'd like to quote me, do so BUT FOR PETE'S SAKE QUOTE ME! Oh and when you have a thought thirty minutes later you can EDIT your posts here... you must be one of these people that gets into an argument and then thinks, "I should have said...", well the beauty of a forum with an edit is you can amend your thoughts.

Now go in and CORRECT the quote please... I know it'll be tough to seperate your lips from your butt in your world of fear but TRY.

    Thanks

PS The devil is in the details. *snickers*

  5. LOL... what does a demon need with a lantern?

Anyone see Goonies? That thing looks like Sloth.. lol. Aww well it is great fun to watch but I would take it with a grain of salt.

Oh and the "meat" that is even more fake looking than the demon costume... this looks like a Scooby Doo mystery to me heheh.

Oh and yes I do ghost hunting myself and have had some weird occurences during stake outs of haunts but this is way over the top heheh. Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana was cool, had a very strange occurence there on the outside of the house... and the St. James Hotel in Cimarron New Mexico is also a hell of a place to spend the night... I had a lot of weird stuff happen to me there. Either place is worth a stay and a lil investigation... if this is your kinda thing.

    Peace

  6. Hey man... I'm still here and I got the facts. First of all Michelle Malkin is a LOONEY TUNE piece of trash, she isn't a republican she's an anti-american fruit loop... but she's right terrorists are allowed to work unmolested in this country if they choose to. That's HOMELAND SECURITY for ya.

Now, it seems that this airline was undersiege by the GOD DAMN SYRIAN WAYNE NEWTON! What a bunch of COWARDS. When did America become so damn COMPLACENT?!

Anyway, as Ms. Malkin keenly and appropriately points out, the failure of this ADMINISTRATION to protect anything but their interests (which obviously doesn't include the public which I might point out INCLUDES YOU) is tantamount to DERELICTION of DUTY. It's been near THREE years and NOW (after the 9/11 report which he didn't even want DONE) Bush wants to start changing things. He calls himself a Republican?! I thought we were pick ourselves up by the bootstraps tough... this guy isn't tough... not on terrorists. The only thing that Bush has done is diminish our civil rights here at home while continuing to IGNORE the threats that HE allows to enter this country EVERY SINGLE DAY. Investigate the money spent on Homeland Security, investigate the fact that our borders and our ports are OPEN DOORS. I DARE YOU! The President doesn't seem to handle anything according to you guys... apparently he's just a figurehead... but where is his LEADERSHIP on the issues of our security? He attacked Iraq... a misreable failure and NOW... he has all of you crapping your pants over The Syrian Wayne Newton.

You should all go into hiding... panzies.

READ ABOUT THE TERRORIST WAYNE NEWTON OF SYRIA... *shivers*

And what this author so rightly points out and what I pointed out is that PEOPLE ARE so ready to just go down in a fiery ball of death. If this is the nation's mentality then no wonder why Bush has all of you so freaked out. Who will protect us... KERRY? That's what you guys like to say... NOPE... neither Bush nor Kerry will protect you WHEN IT COUNTS... when you're on that plane possibly facing certain death. That's when it's on ALL OF US to PROTECT OURSELVES and that's what FREEDOM IS.

Go back to sleep Soback... or tucking your head between your legs to kiss your a$$ goodbye. *snickers*

  8. Uhmmm.... LOL... well if you think that the $150- $200 price difference is worth the MINISCULE performance difference then the ATI might be worth it. Regardless, the GT and Ultra would be more in league with the 800s and they do many things better while still being cheaper than the ATI cards (see Doom 3 benchmarks). I think ATI does a great job of pushing a lot of horsepower into a smaller more energy efficient package but I already have a hefty power supply and $283.00 for a card was quite enough. I wanted the biggest bang for the buck and Nvidia delivers that... ATI just cannot touch that at all.

  9. Gee I dunno Jaguar... you took Bush's 2003 State of the Union as fact laden... and Cheney's "mushroom clouds"... and Condi's "mushroom clouds" and likely the report a week ago of three nukes found in Iraq, etc. etc. I think that perhaps you should look toward your own gullible nature before pointing the finger at others.

You want to paint me as a liberal Jaguar but I am not a liberal I am a Republican that has HAD ENOUGH and when I'm through running this CHARLATAN out of office I will vote for McCain/Giuliani in 2008. But the business at hand is to RELIEVE a LIAR of his Presidency. This ass did not serve his term in the guard, he lied about the Iraqi threat and he failed to get Osama.

What did he accomplish... well amazingly he got a Unocal consultant appointed to run Afghanistan and AMAZINGLY they ressurected a pipeline deal from the ashes that will deliver oil from former Soviet Republics through Afghanistan and into ports in Pakistan... BLOODY F'ING AMAZING! Yet where the hell is Osama? Where is JUSTICE for our people... oops ... sorry that didn't seem to be a priority *snickers*. If it was a priority we would be making sure that Pakistan delivered us Osama instead of placating them. And meanwhile we have the highest prices for oil in 21 years and a trumped up economy. Number one standard of living in the world... is it America? NOPE... NORWAY... F'ING NORWAY! Nice work George... my heritage is Norwegian... thanks for putting us on the map.

Oh and Jaguar... thanks for being great comedic relief.

    Tak

  11. Meh... I just ordered an Nvidia 6800.... no GT or Ultra... just the 6800. For the price, $283.00 (at Newegg) it includes a free copy of Far Cry, so what's to think about? So far the reviews have been raves and the concensus is that dollars to framerate it is the best deal out there. I cannot wait for it to get here... and I'm doing this just in time for Doom 3. Ohhhh happy day!

  12. Roleplaying is huge, that's what its secret is. You can do anything in the game as relates to "living" a life in that world. There is a huge community of players on both the OSI shards and the free shards which also keeps revenues on these expansions flowing.

What I find funny is that people here will sacrifice graphics for depth and then ask what UO's secret is... *snickers* The game is eight years old but is only limited by the imaginations of the people playing it. It isn't a resource hog, it plays on almost ANY computer and gets the job done. What's to question why?

    Peace

  13. Well I agree, I wanted to see the revenge in a personal way... but that chase was personal... that's why I loved the camera work. I thought after that, "if this guy gets up and they go hand to hand, I'm out of here," and they didn't do it and I thought WAY TO GO! It was not clear to me either that at some point we might not see it anyway, if you get my drift SC

I look for Bourne to become the reluctant CIA asset in the future.... what do you guys think?

    Later

  14. The Bourne Supremacy did in this movie what it intended to... state quite loudly, I am a franchise to be reckoned with. This movie picks up where it left off, with Bourne still avoiding a past he cannot remember. We see that he still struggles to grasp his past but has been no more successful in deciphering the broken mirror that is his memory than he was at the end of Identity. His enemies, knowing he suffers from amnesia implicate him in a hit on a CIA bag man and an informant who are part of a team led by Agent Landy (Joan Allen). Knowing anything beyond this is irrelevant to any kind of review. What makes Bourne so damn cool is that there is NO amazing gadgetry, no tuxedoes. We're lucky if our hero can manage to get the blood cleaned off his hands in a public toilet much less grab a martini and a bimbo. This is the reality of what it must be to be a deep cover agent. Everybody loves you when you're doing the dirty work and as soon as you're a liability, you're expendable.

Once again, they managed to stack the deck for a Bourne flick with quality actors. Brian Cox is as good as ever (does anybody get tired of watching this guy play an ass). Joan Allen is efficient as ever, she is a welcome addition to this franchise and I expect that she will be a long standing part of it... or maybe not... people handling the members of Bourne's team seem to meet "untimely" ends. Julia Stiles THANKFULLY is used briefly. She has neither the weight nor the chops to stand in with veteran actors or these agents (she's a logistics person not a scumbag) and they do a great job of getting her in and getting her out of this movie. The surprise in Bourne Identity was that Matt Damon could pull it off. He does a better job in this film than the last. He has physically aged, matured and it really helps to darken Bourne as a character.

Now, I can just see the thread in the coming days being a discussion of camera angles and fast cuts etc. All I can say is that I was VERY satisfied with the camera work done in this flick. From the hand to hand to the chase scenes the camera work conveys ADRENALINE. Just as Bourne is taken by surprise by circumstances and forced to adapt, we are also forced to evaluate our place as the viewer. I thought it was very cool and it kept the gritty feel. I pity the fool that breaks into my house and feels the wrath of my tightly rolled FHM as I bludgeon them with it. The automobile chase in this movie is CLASSIC and well worth the price of the ticket.

This movie takes Bourne to the next level. It removes the external diversions in his life while adding to his inner torment. Bourne is the dirty underbelly of espionage. He is the killer called patriot. He however understands that not all killing for the government is patriotic. Long live the brooding Bourne! Long live this movie franchise. No Q, no flashy car, no hot babe. Nothing but a gun, a cellphone and an attitude. Now that's bad ass.

    9/10

  15. Wow really? Jaguar this is in keeping with your typical argument, "Fox news told me so!" Your informed sources are a laughing stock. Is this movie propaganda... sure... just like the "mushroom clouds", "dirty bombs" and "remotely operated drones". It's all relative. As for people making "informed" decisions on the words of others... I find that laughable as well. If people had your approach to the world, as in let someone else see it and tell me what it is... I wonder how many of us would be playing Battlecruiser games. They were savaged in the press by people that never bothered to play them for the most part... sounding familiar? Thank God I don't let people tell me what I like and don't like.

Your argument just goes to prove my point where it concerns you... you swallow the hook, the line, the rod... and now ladies and gentlemen the entire boat. Bravo!

    Cheers.

  17. If he actually did this... (let's face it gentlemen the only place he hasn't shoved these documents given the changing stories, is up his derrier)... he should be prosecuted. I guess Sandy is just very sloppy, ofcourse they don't have appointees at the FAA to destory the tapes of 9/11 or for that matter people in the Defense Department to destroy microfiche of the President's guard service either. I can't wait until January 2005 when the facts start coming out about just how badly we've been lied to and screwed over the past 4 years. Afterall disclosure is not exactly this Administration's strong suit either.

  19. I just have no desire to see another movie with Will Smith doing Will Smith schtick. At this point, it's like he does an impersonation of himself in every film. Did I just say that? Oh no you didn't!

    ROFLMAO

Thank god Bourne Supremacy opens this weekend.

  20. Do tell me then how the John Walker Lindh or Jose Padillas are going to be stopped... terrorists are like roaches right... so do you think there might be actual sympathizers out there that are not Arabic by birth? Likely you guys from your crazed tones would like me investigated and I'm just an American unwilling to see my rights trampled over terrorism. You guys scream about Spain pulling out of Iraq or other countries giving in... well you guys roll over every day with talk like this... you guys have conceded the fight and you act like you haven't. Truly this is hysterical... and you guys... well you're certainly drumming up the hysterics... just like this "author".

    Think about that.

    Cheers
