  1. Just wondering, if this is as ironic as I believe it to be.... http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article....RTICLE_ID=43031 Good one, Bush!!!!
  2. Interesting to some, I suppose; however, I do not expect EVERYONE to applaud. I just found this thread interesting and felt like sharing http://community.netscape.com/n/pfx/forum....37&nav=messages

These precedents will turn on them, when the Political power seat shifts in the future. "He who laughs last, laughs best" ROFLMAO
  5. Nomad, Assuming EVERYTHING is as EXACTLY as you have described.............What would be the most realistic and rational course of action, to solve this problem.....and by whome.....as you see the equation in it's entire form? I know this covers a huge area, and there is no single event, which can change anything..., but the most basic generalization, describing a multi-faceted reform; Natiional and Internationally....is what I am trying to understand. what reforms, and by whome ...would be the most appropriate or desired equation to offer a desired result? It is YOUR OPINION , which I am interested... thanx
  6. And oh, by the way.... I personally dispise PORKERS, who think they are above the citizens in this country..and would be just as apt to but a bullet in a dirty theiving criminal PIG's head, as any other criminal who threatened my life or freedom....so get over it!!!
  7. quote: First of all street stop spilling this bull about a 35lbs 6 year old kid. Why all the disrespectful and childish remarks..GROW UP for god's sake!!! quote:So do us all a favor and like the saying goes "You can save face by keeping the lower part of it shut" The so called "BULL", is MY OPINION!!! you dont like it? tough cow patties...kid!! You want to tell me to shut my mouth??? DO ALL of us REAL Americans A FAVOR, and SHUT YOURS!!! you want a police state,,,,go for it...dont attack those who help KEEP our country free from your kind of IDIOT philosophy!!
  8. This happened TUESDAY..here in texas.....: http://www.policeone.com/policeone/fronten...l_news&id=93315 just something to consider.....though different circumstances. There is validity, in raising DEEP concern for using such a weapon on a 35lb 6 year old child. [ 11-19-2004, 11:24 AM: Message edited by: street ]
  9. why dont you check out the specs on those tasors, then you will understand my concern about the child's eyes. YOU(a citizen) cant even have one, much less shoot an ADULT with one, unless your a cop. I just say it was NOT a rational alternative for dealing with a child THAT young, but extremely easy and efficient for a lazy, moron, whimp, with a badge. either, they are too dangerous for the public, or they are such a passive device they can be used on 35 lb children.....which is it?
  10. Those are TASORS, and classified as FIREARMS. EVEN MORE rediculous. I guess it would have been acceptable to put the kids eye out to stop him from cutting his leg...to even take such a chance,,,is DISGUSTING MELODRAMA? In what respect. Just statements which present COMMON SENSE factual considerations...jeesh
  11. quote: 1) There are arteries in your leg. first off, we are talking about a 6 year old...get a grip. If he was close enough to zap him, he was close enough to grab the kid. NOT a police stand off by any means...god have mercy!! can anyone really be so nieve? second off, it wasnt a butcher knife, and even if it were, i fail to comprehend how an adult who can reach out and touch a small child with a stun gun... is such a whimp, he cant grab the knife, or glass, before any real LIFE THREATENING damage could even begin. IF I couldnt get a piece of glass away from a six year old, without use of a weapon, I wouldnt be much of human being, much less be trusted to PROTECT the public, but of course, we all know that is not what they are there for in this day and age. They are only there to STEAL money from those who make small mistakes within overwhelmingly rediculous amount of laws and violations which being human dictates, will happen. quote: 2) I don't trust CNN (or anyone else) to give all the facts or even the correct facts. EVER. Yellow Journalism went from a faux pas to a way of life. It's disgusting and ridiculous. It is increasingly anoying, to have people keep claiming "ITS YELLOW journalism", unless of course it backs their position, in a discussion...utter rediculous response. If you cant believe THAT part of the story....you cant believe ANY part of the story,,,,why read at all....NOTHING is true....thus no discussion is even relevant...as we know NOTHING, but what is reported anyway. quote: In any case, a taser won't do permanent damage to the kid, the piece of glass would. That statement has NO validity.....unless the cop Knew the entirety of the kids medical condition,...he would have no idea..the child could have just dropped dead...due to birth defects, or many other common medical abnormalities... pure IGNORANT..to use a stun gun on a child that young...PERIOD. chicken shit, took a chance...because he was too stupid to think things through. Stun Guns, Pepper spray AND rubber bullets KILL a small percentage ...FACT. HAS happened many times throughout the last 20 years. Best thing we have for non-lethal control...great for adults...even young adults with proper amount of body weight, muscle and skin thickness..with NO room for medical abnormality.......pure stupidity to use on SIX year old children. everyone has their own opinion, but I am a real man, who is not afraid of a six year old, and firmly believe, I(as an adult) am perfectly capable of handling such a situation without a WEAPON.
  12. they SAID he was trying to cut his LEG, with a PIECE of GLASS. EXTREME difference, between someone TRYING to kill oneself, who knows theoretically how... and a 6 year old child, who MIGHT cut his leg, and feel a little pain or get a few stitches, if he actually was faster, smarter, and tougher than a stupid cop..jeesh! and NO, I dont think they did it for fun,,,,I think that SOME cops are idiots, who NEED more control, supervision, and regulation!!!! after all, they are NO BETTER mentally, emotionally, or in any other fashion, than any of us citizens, and it is THEIR philosophy, that everyone else is to be controlled, by whatever means necessary, but they themselves are beyond reproach....not MY philosophy, and I will NEVER, overlook an idiot response....even if he IS wearing a badge!!!
  13. quote:Perhaps theres good money to be made in making a special terrorist edition. Wich only has a self destruct. little differece between that and a booby trap, or car bomb...hummm
  14. I wasnt there, and do not know EXACTLY what happen...but I do find it sad, a taser was used on a child, when all it would have taken... was for an adult to reach down and grab the kids little arm, or hand to stop him.....really sad....just another example, as to how OVERKILL, has become acceptable in every area of policing people, within this country.
  15. How does it suprise you, they go after the user, rather than the distributer? Same methodology is being used to prosecute every type of legal infraction throughout this country. Put the drug user in jail, and allow the dealers to operate with impunity....as long as they turn in the buyers. Not too awful surprising. Our currant representation of a ZERO tolorance mentality, has determined that the user, is the threat, rather than the dealer......I suppose, this is why it is NOW ok for law enforcement to sell drugs to your children, AND punish your whole family, if they succeed in corupting your children. I remember when THAT too was ILLEGAL, and considered IMMORAL. Oh well, I suppose America will get what she deserves, in the end.
  16. Your not alone, I just went through a similar attack. FINALLY got my email filters REVISED to handle the onslaught.
  17. quote:Originally posted by street: Gulf War Facts The Coalition The Allied coalition consisted of 34 countries, including Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Honduras, Italy, Kuwait, Morocco, The Netherlands, Niger, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, South Korea, Spain, Syria, Turkey, The United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States. The U.S. had more than 500,000 troops in the Persian Gulf War, while the non-U.S. coalition forces equaled roughly 160,000, or 24 percent, of all forces. Here are some details about the forces in the Gulf: U.S. casualties: 148 battle deaths, 145 nonbattle deaths Army: 98 battle; 105 nonbattle Navy: 6 battle; 8 nonbattle Marines: 24 battle; 26 nonbattle Air Force: 20 battle; 6 nonbattle Women killed: 15 U.S. wounded in action: 467 British casualties: 24, nine by U.S. fire British wounded in action: 10 French casualties: 2 French wounded in action: 25 (estimated) Allied Arab casualties: 39 Allied combat air sorties flown: More than 116,000 Coalition aircraft losses: 75 (63 U.S., 12 Allied) Fixed wing: 37 combat, 15 noncombat (U.S. losses -- 28 combat, 12 noncombat; no U.S. losses in air-to-air engagements) Helicopters: 5 combat, 18 noncombat (all U.S.) Iraq In June 1991, the U.S. estimated that more than 100,000 Iraqi soldiers died, 300,000 were wounded, 150,000 deserted and 60,000 were taken prisoner. Many human rights groups claimed a much higher number of Iraqis were killed in action. According to Baghdad, civilian casualties numbered more than 35,000. However, since the war, some scholars have concluded that the number of Iraqi soldiers who were killed was significantly less than initially reported. Estimated Iraqi Losses: (Reported by U.S. Central Command, March 7, 1991) 36 fixed-wing aircraft in air-to-air engagements 6 helicopters in air-to-air engagements 68 fixed- and 13 rotary-wing aircraft destroyed on the ground 137 Iraqi aircraft flown to Iran 3,700 of 4,280 battle tanks 2,400 of 2,870 assorted other armored vehicles 2,600 of 3,110 assorted artillery pieces 19 naval ships sunk, 6 damaged 42 divisions made combat-ineffective Enemy prisoners of war captured: U.S. forces released 71,204 to Saudi control. The Cost The U.S. Department of Defense has estimated the cost of the Gulf War at $61 billion; however, other sources say that number could be as high as $71 billion. The operation was financed by more than $53 billion pledged by countries around the world, most of which came from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States ($36 billion) and Germany and Japan ($16 billion). Some of the money pledged by countries such as Saudi Arabia was delivered in the form of in-kind services to troops, such as transportation and food. BIG differences in ALL areas, except the total number of nations involved. Not only do we now have fewer, countries within the present coalition, another difference, is NOW, all we have are little itty bitty nations, in it purely for the favor of the US, and no true affluential ability to help!!! DUH!!
  18. MOST refreshing, to read an objective and sane discussion concerning the REAL nature of the situation. A rare thing indeed, on this forum!
  19. Nomad, is right. Nothing to it. A programmer could easily do it with ANY PDA.
  20. I cant argue there, shin....it will be nice, when the economy REALLY does "BOOM" again. Maybe, I wont have so much free time.
  21. Not a bad analogy....I guess, it would be ok, if the kid wasnt being misled. Why not tell the kid the truth, and admit, the police were trying to do their job, and the daddy, jumped the gun and killed innocent members of the family's houshold as well, in FACT more than saddam did. ? Then give the kid an even more proper perspective, that concerning the ATTACk on the houshold PRETENDED as saddams ADMIT you PRETENDED the reason for attacking him AND ADMIT the REASONING WAS FLAWED in the beginning, but now its ok, because of OTHER reasons, not nearly as bad as what was going on in the other houses on the block; when you ATTACKED the house of saddam, with PRETENDED reason, and before, the police could do their job. Truly SICK to present such a distorted view of truth to their 9 year old son. Why LIE to a child, when you know your own action was a blatant mistake?
  22. What? and do like you...make up my own?....
  23. #1. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£Gosh, I donÔÇÖt think I ever said IÔÇÖm not worried about Osama Bin Laden. ThatÔÇÖs kinda one of those exaggerations.ÔÇØ REALITY: Bush: ÔÇ£I Am Truly Not That Concerned About Him.ÔÇØ In 2002 Bush said: ÔÇ£Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I--I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him.ÔÇØ [http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2002/03/20020313-8.html] #2. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£three-quarters of Al Qaida leaders have been brought to justice.ÔÇØ [bush Remarks, Third Presidential Debate, 10/13/04] REALITY: Bush Claims To Have Wiped Out 3/4 Of Al Qaeda, Yet The Organization Is Resurging And Morphing. Despite BushÔÇÖs claims over the past several months that ÔÇ£much of Al QaedaÔÇÖs leadership has been killed or captured,ÔÇØ new evidence from Al Qaeda double-agent Mohammed Naeem Noor KhanÔÇÖs computer, seized in Pakistan, shows that a ÔÇ£new generation of operativesÔǪ[appears] to be filling the vacuum created when leaders were killed or captured.ÔÇØ According to intelligence analysts, ÔÇ£Al QaedaÔÇÖs upper ranks are being filled by lower-ranking members and more recent recruits.ÔÇØ Al Qaeda is ÔÇ£more resilient than was previously understood and has sought to find replacements for operational commanders like Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, Abu Zubaydah and Walid Muhammad Salih bin Attash, known as Khallad, all of whom have been captured.ÔÇØ Although several major leaders have been captured, ÔÇ£the new operatives appear as committed to striking the U.S.ÔÇØ [bush Remarks, 9/14/04; New York Times, 8/10/04; Wall Street Journal, 8/16/04] #3. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£We have a problem with litigation in the United States of America. Vaccine manufacturers are worried about getting sued, and therefore they have backed off from providing this kind of vaccine.ÔÇØ REALITY: Mergers, Not Lawsuits, To Blame for Lack of Vaccine Producing Companies. ÔÇ£Also, Bush blamed lawsuits for the shortage, but that's not the cause of frequent vaccine shortages, according to the Institute of Medicine, a division of the National Academy of Sciences. The problem is that vaccines aren't profitable and drug companies keep merging. In 1967, nearly 30 drug companies made vaccines. That was down to five last year, and of those only two make flu vaccines.ÔÇØ [Pioneer Press, 10/14/04] #4. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£Most of the tax cuts went to low and middle income Americans, and now the tax code is more fair, 20 percent of the upper income people pay about 80 percent of the taxes in America today because of how we structured the tax cuts.ÔÇØ REALITY: In 2004, Top One Percent Will Receive Average Tax Cut Of $35,000; Middle Class Will Receive Average Tax Cut Of $647. The benefits of BushÔÇÖs tax cuts primarily benefit the rich. The top one percent of households will receive tax cuts averaging almost $35,000--or 54 times more than middle-class families. Households with incomes above $1 million will receive tax cuts averaging about $123,600. [Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, 4/14/04] George Bush's Plan Shifts the Tax Burden to the Middle Class. In contrast, under the Bush plan the "Tax Burden Shifts to the Middle" according to a Washington Post headline, and "middle America - average annual income $75,600 - saw its share of the federal tax burden increase from 18.7 percent to 19.5 percent." In addition, George Bush has imposed a tax of thousands of dollars on families through higher costs for health care, gasoline, college tuition, and state and local taxes. [Washington Post, 8/13/04] #5. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£I understand that they need to get better rates of return than the rates of return being given in the current Social Security trust, and the compounding rate of interest effect will make it more likely that the social security system is solvent for our children and our grandchildren.ÔÇØ REALITY: CBO: Bush Plan Will Force Benefit Cuts. According to CBO, the PresidentÔÇÖs plan ÔÇ£would reduce expected retirement benefits relative to scheduled benefits, even when the benefits paid from IAs [individual accounts] under CSSS Plan 2 are includedÔǪ For example, benefits for the 1980s birth cohort would be 30 percent lower, and benefits for the 2000s cohort would be 45 percent lower.ÔÇØ [CBO, ÔÇ£Long-term Analysis of Plan 2 of the PresidentÔÇÖs Commission to Strengthen Social Security,ÔÇØ 7/21/2004, page 15 and Table 2] #6. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£He [Kerry] voted to increase taxes 98 times.ÔÇØ REALITY: Bush Exaggerates KerryÔÇÖs Tax Record. ÔÇ£Bush recycled his charge that Kerry voted 98 times to raise taxes. But FactCheck.org, a nonpartisan group, says nearly half were not for tax increases per se, and many others were on procedural motions. The Bush total also includes several votes on a single tax bill.ÔÇØ [Washington Post, 10/14/04] Kerry has gone on the legislative record over 640 times for lower taxes. [Congressional Quarterly Votes; CQ's Congress And The Nation; CQ Almanacs; Senate Republican Policy Committee Vote Analysis; Congressional Research Service Bill Summaries (via thomas.loc.gov), bill texts (via thomas.loc.gov)] #7. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£I proposed a constitutional amendment. The reason I did so was because I was worried that activist judges are actually defining the definition of marriage, and the surest way to protect marriage between a man and woman is to amend the constitution.ÔÇØ REALITY: Bush Previously Claimed Gay Marriage Was a State Issue. In a 2000 Republican primary debate, Bush responded to a question about same-sex marriage as follows: "The state can do what they want to do. Don't try to trap me in this state's issue." [2/15/00 Republican primary debate, http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0002/15/lkl.00.html;] #8. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£He talks about PAYGO. I'll tell you what PAYGO means, when you're a senator from Massachusetts, when you're a colleague of Ted Kennedy, pay go means: You pay, and he goes ahead and spends.ÔÇØ REALITY: Bush Has Increased Non-Defense Discretionary Spending By 36 Percent During His First Term. In total, non-defense discretionary outlays increased approximately 36 percent during BushÔÇÖs first term in office. Brian Riedl, a budget analyst at the conservative Heritage Foundation, estimates that government spending has climbed twice as fast under Bush as under Clinton. [Heritage study, 12/16/03; Cato Institute, 3/3/04; New York Times, 1/24/04] Bush Has Not Vetoed A Single Spending Bill. During his first term in office, Bush has not vetoed any bills. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£It will be the largest increase in government health care ever.ÔÇØ REALITY: BushÔÇÖs Charges About KerryÔÇÖs Health Care Plan Have Been Roundly Discredited. ABC News said they were ÔÇ£not true.ÔÇØ ÔÇ£This is hardly a government takeover that would put bureaucrats in charge of your health care, as President Bush has shamelessly contended,ÔÇØ said the New York Times. The Washington Post said, ÔÇ£There is no evidence that the Kerry blueprint is a ÔÇÿgovernment-runÔÇÖ plan.ÔÇØ The Detroit News said they are ÔÇ£absurd accusations.ÔÇØ And the St. Louis Post-Dispatch said, ÔÇ£Mr. Bush's allegations are wildly inaccurate.ÔÇØ [ABC News World News Tonight, 9/13/04; New York Times Editorial, 10/3/04; Washington Post, 9/14/04; Detroit Free Press, 9/26/04; St. Louis Post-Dispatch Editorial, 9/27/04] #10. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£ThatÔÇÖs why I am such a strong believer in medical liability reform. The last debate my opponent said the lawsuits only cause it to go up by 1 percent. He didn't include the defensive practice of medicine that costs the Federal government some $28 billion a year and costs our society between 60 and 100 billion a year.ÔÇØ REALITY: GAO Found No Evidence that Tort Reform Would Reduce Medical Spending. Both the General Accountability Office (GAO) and the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) criticize the 1996 study the Bush administration uses as their main support for that claimÔǪWhen the CBO attempted to duplicate the Stanford economistsÔÇÖ methods for other types of ailments they found ÔÇ£no evidence that restrictions on tort liability reduce medical spending.ÔÇØ [FactCheck.org, 10/9/04] #11. Bush promised to increase the maximum Pell Grant award to $5,100 during the 2000 campaign. BushÔÇÖs FY 2005 budget is the third in a row that has refused to increase the value over the current $4,050. The maximum value of the Pell grant covers 68 percent of public two-year tuition, down from 94 percent three decades ago. [bush Speech in Hampton, New Hampshire, 8/30/00; FY 2005 budget] Bush Tried to Drop 84,000 Students From Pell Program By Changing Eligibility Formula. Department of Education proposed Pell Grant formula changes would have eliminated Pell Grants for 84,000 students and reduced the grants for 1.5 million additional students. Fortunately, implementation of the proposed changes was delayed by Congress. [American Council on Education, 12/8/03] #12. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£Well, first of all, it is just not true that I haven't met with the Black Congressional Caucus. I met with the Black Congressional Caucus at the White House.ÔÇØ REALITY: Bush Has Purposely Ignored the Congressional Black Caucus. ÔÇ£Bush did meet with the Congressional Black Caucus during his first two weeks in office -- on Jan. 31, 2001 -- but Kerry's overall charge was correct: Bush has repeatedly turned down requests to meet with the group since then. Caucus members have complained that not only has Bush refused to meet with them on specific issues, including his plans to attack Iraq, but also the White House often has not even responded to their letters.ÔÇØ [Washington Post, 10/14/04] #13. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£And now this economy is growing. We added 1.9 million new jobs over the last 13 months.ÔÇØ REALITY: Bush ÔÇ£OversimplifiesÔÇØ The Employment Picture. Bush ÔÇ£oversimplifiedÔÇØ the employment picture by saying that the number of jobs has increased by 1.9 million in the past 13 monthsÔǪBush was referring to only a brief window of time. The latest job figures released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics last week showed that 96,000 jobs were added in September, fewer than the 145,000 predicted by economists, for a net loss of 821,000 during Bush's tenure. Bush is on track to be the first president in 72 years to preside over a loss of jobs.ÔÇØ [Washington Post, 10/14/04] #14. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£What he's asking me is, ÔÇÿWill I have a litmus test for my judges?ÔÇÖ And the answer is, no, I will not have a litmus test.ÔÇØ REALITY: Bush Has Promised to Pack the Courts with Right Wing Judges. Bush has pledged to continue to pack the courts with his right wing judicial nominees and has said that Antonin Scalia is his role model for Supreme Court judges. At a GOP fundraiser in March 2002, Bush said, ÔÇ£First, weÔÇÖve got to get good, conservative judges appointed to the bench and approved by the United States Senate.ÔÇØ Non-partisan studies have found that in civil rights and civil liberties cases, BushÔÇÖs judges made liberal decisions only 26.5% of the time. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£He's proposed $2.2 trillion of new spendingÔǪÔÇØ REALITY: Bush Plans Would Cost $3 Trillion ÔÇ£Bush, making his case that Kerry is a tax-and-spend liberal, charged that he has promised more than $2.2 trillion in new spending over the next 10 years. Kerry has disputed that estimate, and Bush's own tax-cut proposals and plan to create private Social Security accounts -- and his spending proposals -- would add more than $3 trillion to the deficit, according to administration figures.ÔÇØ [Washington Post, 10/14/04] #16. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£My biggest disappointment in Washington is how partisan the town is.ÔÇØ REALITY: Bush a ÔÇ£Divider Not UniterÔÇØ: The Washington Post reported, ÔÇ£As Bush begins the final year of his term with Tuesday nightÔÇÖs State of the Union address, partisans on both sides say the tone of political discourse is as bad as ever -- if not worse.ÔÇØ One senior administration official said, Bush could have built ÔÇ£trust and goodwillÔÇØ by pursuing more broadly appealing initiatives. One former Bush aide said the White House ÔÇ£relished the ÔÇÿus versus themÔÇÖ thing.ÔÇØ The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has also found that Bush has failed ÔÇ£to build common groundÔÇØ and ÔÇ£missed opportunities to build consensus on key civil rights issues.ÔÇØ Instead he has ÔÇ£adopted policies that divide Americans.ÔÇØ [ÔÇ£Redefining Rights in America: The Civil Rights Record of the George W. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£Today in America more minorities own a home than ever before.ÔÇØ REALITY: Homeownership Gap Between African Americans And Whites Has Grown 6.4 Percent Under Bush. Despite BushÔÇÖs claims that he is focusing on narrowing disparities in minority home ownership, the gap between black and white homeowners has increased 6.4 percent since Bush took office, from 24.8 percentage pts in 2001 to 26.5 in the last period reported. BUSH CLAIMS: ÔÇ£In order to make sure people have jobs for the 21st century, we've got to get it right in the education system, and we're beginning to close a minority achievement gap now. ÔÇ£ REALITY: Nationwide Achievement Gaps in Reading Have Not Closed Since NCLB. Although many groups began to close the achievement gap from 1998 to 2002, there is no nationwide evidence that the gaps in reading have closed after No Child Left Behind. In fact in 2003, the NationÔÇÖs Report Card shows that in grade 4, the gap between white and African American students grew slightly larger, while the achievement gap for Hispanics was unchanged. In grade 8, the gap between white and Hispanic students grew slightly larger while the achievement gap for African Americans was unchanged. [National Center for Education Statistics, National Assessment of Educational Progress] Bush Exaggerates Evidence of Minority Gains.
