  1. Thanks for the support SC. You really make a difference.
  2. Ohh..... so "/" go no use? 6.1 state that, but i failed to understand. Now i know.
  3. I just found out i need to press "/" to active the jump when need the flux. I guess i had been using Autopilot from the start to jump between system. I never learn how to active the flux or stargate Until last night. "And have you tried reading and running the work in progress tutorial I posted the other day?" Yes read them, did not remember anything about the "/" key to active system jump. Is it on the key list? I remember seeing "/" to enter ship or vehicle. Nonthing on flux or jump gate.
  4. Read all those file, i must have miss it somehow. i thing i still do not know is how to jump between system. Time to read throught the manual again. Thanks for the reply
  5. I had playing this game for a month, yet i did not know how to jump in flux. Can someone tell me the steps. Do we use command jump to at Flux-08 or (Expect this command but cannot did not get the option.) or fly to Flux-08 (Did not jump when ship reach flux)
  6. I love to repair my ship with my own engineers, that is the only training they get. I usually will dock my ship at a station, schedule all the repair jobs, exit station, appoint system engineers, select a planet with enemys, deploy OC, steal enemy OC, and kick their base. That is with i got time to play. Otherwise, i will play with my kid while waiting. There is alway things to do.
  7. Look like this, Shuttle looping around the target due minimium turn angle. The other possibility is due to the maintan minimium distanse from object rule is active. Did you every notice AI trying to avoid your ship or Space station in order to prevent collision? The shuttle flight path may be affected by this rule.
  8. "powered up my fighter bays and tried to do it again, no chance .. i never got this question again. " The simple answer will be to off the tracker beam and immidately on again. The question to recovery your support ship will be given again.
  9. Solar reactor is not and battery charger. So forget about it. Nuker reactor only provide 100 pts of power. A ship total power requirement can be more than 100 pts. It the case where you turn every on and every max, your requirement is easily 110++. Since nuker provide 100, solar provide the rest where possible. Whenever solar ray is weak, and the solar reactor cannot provide enough power, system that are overclock (engine, solar panels, cloning) get turn off. If you are in a sunny area, solar power can be as high as 70-99. You can switch off your nuker and relay on solar react only if you are not HSpace around.
  10. Just change them to on-station. That will force them to be on-station for a little while. And this is not the tech forun
  11. Finally finish reading this thread. My understanding is that solar power provide instant power. Battery are not included. Correct me if i am wrong. Nuke power consumes radine. Power that off and you can still survive with solar. The minute you turn you ship away from the sun, systems start losing power. The mintue your AE get off the ship, AI will power off everything. So if your ship runs out of juice, and you go off in a shuttle to get juice, you will not be able to dock when you return. The only way is to space walk to you ship and power up the launch. Then order your shuttle to dock. I learn this when my ship run out of juice. So it is a good idea to transfer all your staff to a shuttle or OC or risk lossing health.
