err no edit post button that sucks i fixed the problem anyhow i updated my graphic drivers (didnt help) so i changed my virtual memory to computer controled and reinstalled the game....it seems to be working just dandy now no crashes....yet....lets hope i keeps that way i'd like to atleast do 1 trading run before the game crashes LOL

Okie i know that this is a non-tech support related forum but everytime im in a SC the game crashes on me i have the latest version of UC and cannot think of what could cause this my video drives are not up to date which im about to update them to see if that stops it but if anyone could help me that'd be cool. I know its a vague discription but its the best i could do Earth heading for galcom HQ in a SC all of a sudden game crashes no error messages or anything. Game settings are on high. but ima lower em.

Hehhe i built a computer to play Counter-Strike source so im not worryed about not being able to play any of the UC games or BC games as well since i get a good steady 100fps in CSS right now UC runs liek a charm with a few glitches that are fixed by updating...which i'v done and started a new game =(

Man this derek guy sure can pump out alot of games huh? But anyhow..... It'd be cool if you could like start off in a small cruiser and when you get the money upgrade to a better cruiser and so forth a game that i'v played (web based) space merchants lets you do this. i know this would be hard to code and all but its just a suggestion for future UC (insert expansion name here) series games ( i know UC is part of BCG ect ect ect but to me UC is totally a new game)

Haha sounds like you guys have a little bit of trouble now and again i useually sell off parts i don't need when i first start off in a game then i find a good trade route ad use it for a good 3 or 4 days then build up my ship and im off to find and distroy stuff =P yay!

Yes i tryed the manual and i couldnt even find the use of probes heh. but thanks thats all i really wanted to know is what those 3 stood for...and yes i know i must be blind...but you try looking it up at 4am in the mornin =)

one last question....(no i'v never heard of a edit button enlighten me) Probes LR MR and err SR (right) what do those types do i cannot find definitions for the 3 in the glossory or the appendix =(

Begin a roam campaign as a commander pick any ship you like that it gives you the option to choose pick a diffrent race a diffrent start point pick whatever you like but the best thing about roam is that you can do whatever you want i find it fun to find trade routes then build up your ship like nothing! and then distroy a bunch of other ships....its fun....

Catch most people playing UC online? is there like a peak hour time or is it just when everyone feels like it i feel so alone online when no one else is on heh.

look at the price of the stuff that is highlighted in yellow in the logistix then write them down and go to trade com to add up how much all that stuff together would be.
