  1. Hey man, no "service". We should meet again!
  2. Sorry dude...it was my first time in MP, and well, it was a good battle. What was up with showing up in a fighter after the first kill? You knew I was still in the Cruiser, right? To anyone else reading this...I got two lucky noob kills on him last night on Server 2 (it was LAGGGY too).
  3. Does anyone else find that completely sad? A: that she is such a bimbo B: that poor soul touching his first girl...and it has to be her?
  4. Personally, I've never experienced a game quite like this, yet, first night I loaded it, I was in front of the game for 12 hours trying to "figure it out". LOL! I have NO idea how I missed the earlier versions. Avid gamer since Zork came out, lived for WC (man my 486/66 was such a screamer back then). I feel, honestly, that I have missed out on something SO significant that I cannot quite put it into words. Regardless, I guess this is a case of "never to late". Way to go SC! Keep it up, you've introduced this "action gamer" to something way beyond imagination!

Just hope the keyboards don't need new batteries at the same time as the mice. I really should keep a spare set of batteries around... Me-> <- myself and I ->
  6. Thanks SC...knew I could count on ya :-D
  7. ARG! ok, so I like the freedom of no wires...but damnit...I'm sitting here posting, and NOT PLAYING cause the damn thing needs to recharge. Sorry for the vent...I needed it. Hopefully others understand my plight.
  8. There are a few (totally unrelated) forums I wish had admins/mods with as much sleuthing skills as you SC. Keep it up, and I hope the trolls don't wear you down.
  9. Sounds like an awful lot of fun guys. I look forward to learning a bit and finally joining in on the MP play once I have a handle on this game. I, like many others before me, I am sure, was a little overwhelmed at first. The warming up has begun though. ;-)
  10. Good to know, thanks SC. Mind if I make a suggestion? Known bugs are no problem to me, but having the tutorial step you right into one isn't the nicest. BTW, otherwise, liking this game...very very interested in how BCO turns out...I see tons of potential here. I just "fell" into your series when I picked up UC on the shelf and thought it sounded interesting. Hours and hours later...here I am on your forums :-) PS - Thanks for the quick response!
  11. Sure didn't. Mucho apologies SC. Though, I did let it sit for 20 minutes (stuck in HS)...a 0 movement senario where you can't break out of it is kinda...no fun. Possible to consider a bug?
  12. For the sake of a good problem description (yes SC, I do tech support for a living), I did test without the shuttle in the tow "chain". Worked fine. Seems specific to having more than one ship in the TB chain and trying to HS. Lemme know what you think.
  13. I too am experiencing the same (sounds like it) problem. Going through the tutorial, I reached the spot where you do a chained tow, and are supposed to head for the next jump point. If I use jump to or shift-9 same thing happens. Visual display shows HS, ship dissapears, but I go no where. I am unable to break out of the problem, no matter what I do. Curiously, my ship and the shuttle dissapear, but the diabled ship the shuttle is towing does not. Its almost like it anchors me in normal space...yet the VDD shows HS, with 0 velocity. I have powered off systems, tried a few things, cannot break free of my 0 movement HS. (including shields, engines, etc) I must re-load, and its completely repeatable. I have yet to try this without the shuttle in the tow chain, will do so in the next few minutes. BTW, this is the latest patch.
