  1. The one I have is freeware, with no restrictins on use.
  2. OK, next fleet meeting is at 5 GMT on Saturday, but if I don't hear from at least two people in this thread saying they'll be there, it's going to be cancelled.
  3. That can be done. It's just a simple encryption program where you choose a password for each document you want to encrypt, so individual passwords for individual documents is no problem to arrange.
  4. in sept 26th mission 1 Dreada was in a Warmonger, and so was I, Shin was in a Garid and Chavik a sunflash. I was pretty sure we sent those messages. If they weren't there, then I apologise.
  5. OK, IÔÇÖve changed my mind about the document I am writing. It is now classified at security level three. I am instigating a graded security clearance system for the fleet, With RipÔÇÖs webspace to be used as a classified document repository. There are to be five levels of security clearance, which have to be earned. Level 1- New members of the fleet Level 2- Regular posters in the fleet forums here (This is the maximum clearance someone in an allied fleet can be given) Level 3- Regular partaker in ISS fleet training sessions- must have attended at least three. or Has successfully represented ISS fleet in a tournament match. I.e. has at least one kill recorded on the fleet scoreboard. Level 4- Regularly represents ISS fleet in tournament matches ÔÇô has at least three recorded kills. Level 5- Member of the fleetÔÇÖs inner circle- is a wing leader or above. Each clearance level has its own password for encrypting and decrypting documents. I.e. a member with security clearance level 4 has the passwords for level 1, 2, 3, and 4, can read all documents encrypted up to and including level 4 and can create documents that can only be read by people with level 4 clearance and above, or lower security documents, should they feel their information is not so vital. In other words, only those who already have rank in the fleet or those who represent the fleet in multiplayer (or at least come along to three training sessions) are going to get a peek at this document. (IÔÇÖm not promoting anyone to wing leader without them representing the fleet well in mp) Believe me, itÔÇÖll be worth it At the moment the only ones in the fleet who are ranked high enough to read it are Myself (obviously) Jamont (by virtue of his rank as vice-fleet leader) Zane Marlow (by virtue of his rank as wing leader, even if he wasnÔÇÖt he would still qualify at level three since he has one recorded kill in a fleet match.) IÔÇÖll be uploading the encryption program when I finish the document (in a couple of daysÔÇÖ time) and will post the link. Get busy people! [ 01-24-2005, 03:45 PM: Message edited by: Ben Zwycky ]
  6. No-one around. Hmm this is getting annoying. I'll wait qaround on server 3 for another half hour then call it quits. Next fleet match is tomorrow evening 1900 GMT. Let's see if we can put a team together for that.
  7. OK, server 2 seems to be down, I'll be on server 3.
  8. Looks like the uncertainty of our current financial situation will significantly delay the purchase of the new computer, so I might be a few months late in picking up BC:HI, or the new comp could end up bing my birthday present for the big 3-0, (24th November next year), meaning I'd be missing out on HI entirely.
  9. Rip's already set us up an account on his webspace. It also supports mysql and php.
  10. I guess that's down to Remo. A one week delay to get things running smoothly again wouldn't kill us... completely. So I guess me killing Chavik twice in Sept 26th Mission 1 doesn't count twice? or was that after the match ended? It was after you two respawned and Chavik wanted some revenge, so he rinsed and repeated... with the same result.
  11. We can always use Rip's offer as a temporary fallback location, should the worst happen.
  12. OK, Nick, PM us all your teamspeak server details (server name, IP and password) and we'll meet up on Server 2 at 7am GMT tomorrow (that's Saturday 23rd)(as I said earlier in this thread) I had a document I wanted to send all those taking part in multiplayer, but I haven't finished it yet- maybe we can try some things out without it, and have it for reference later. See you out there,
  13. He emailed me back. He'll be active again in Late November
  14. I always start on server 2. Shin, that Teamspeak offer sounds good. Did you get my PM? I was wanting to get in at least one iss fleet training session in before the next fleet match, to get us all aquainted and run through some practice scenarios.
  15. OK, Zane, next time hang around a little longer. I generally hang around for at least half an hour before looking elsewhere. I was on from about 7.15 (gmt+2)
  16. Well, I had a nice little chat with Shingen's latest minion, but no ISS members. What's going wrong, here? Everybody post your ideal time on a Saturday to meet up. I have in mind to alternate fleet meetings between two times of day, one Saturday at time 1, the next at time 2. Last week's time was OK for Damier, so I'd like next week to be at 7am GMT, unless Damier posts and says that is no longer a good time for him.
  17. I'll be on server 2 in about 10 minutes. If I don't meet anyone in there by 5.30 GMT, I'll check the other servers and this thread.
  18. I'm a geordie, but without the accent. I can put it on if you want, but then nobody would understand me My parents live just outside Morpeth in Northumberland.
  19. I'd fix that time now for this Saturday so people can say yay or nay in this thread. 5 pm GMT this Saturday, that is the 17th. WE'll probably go on for an hour, hour and a ahlf, maybe two, depending on how well things go.
  20. WE'll be sure to take you up on that offer
  21. We'd be glad to have you, Moonbroke. Just pop on over to the ISS Fleet forums and make yourself known. It's about time I did some recruiting myself!
