Verizon update: well email the president of the company seems to work. Unfortunately there as no way for them to corroborate anything since the agent didn't put notes in my account. The good news is they did cut the fees in half so not as good as I hoped, but better than before.

So here's to verizon.... Even though we didn't give you any information, or tell you your information is incorrect, we are still going to hit you with an early termination fee... you CAN have that fee go away if you just come back to use and take whatever service we shove down your throat. Oh, and I can't give you the contact information of the corporate offices.

Seriously hating verizon right now. My final bill was $150 more than it should be. and they are trying to tell me my plan "changed" and I was still under contract with them and they are charging an early termination fee that I can avoid by porting my numbers BACK to them. Nope, not trying to do anything underhanded....
