It's a decent game, but multiplayer is broken for me. The tournament mode doesn't work and custom games rarely work, if they do work, they kick me out because I have a high ping.

I'm not a developer, but judging from the last few games 3000AD has released, I don't think it will be moddable.

what language is the AAW engine coded in?
I would assume C++.
Im a modder. i personally dont like tools unless its in some insane code.I don't think AAW is designed to be mod-friendly.

You'll need to install the beta 2 patch before installing the latest beta patch. You can find a download link in the first post.
If you've already applied the latest patch, just install beta 2 patch over it and then the latest one.

I bought FEAR2 retail the other day and the game requires Steam. This Steam system for retail games is a load of crap since I can't give my dad or brother the game to play through, because the CD key is tied to my account...
To really kick me in the crotch is that I completed the whole game in less than 7 hours...

[*]Fleet C&C (party/armies)? I might be "reaching" again, but...Check.
There are a lot of side-quests.
When you become the marshal for the faction you're working with, you give friendly lords tasks (patrol, raid, etc) or get them altogether and go on a campaign.
If you need any help with the game, let me know. I am fairly decent at it (level 38, own Dhirim, marshal for vaegir faction).

It isn't coming. They're working on AAW and KB. AAW is announced for 360 and is coming in Q3.

We evaluated C4 but didn't use it because it just wasn't designed for the kind of game that I wanted to make. For one thing, C4 wasn't designed to handle an open world terrain.

Stalker is 80AUD RRP here (or was, its discontinued now). Its $20 on Steam.

I use GamersGate. They have restrictions on some of their products, but the majority of the products (including 3000AD) aren't restricted geographically.

Just purchase my copy from EB Games ($30). Install went fine, patched it (put patch file in game folder, ran from there). When I click on the game icon on my desktop, OR in the game folder itself, the game does NOT start, NOTHING happens!! just my desktop picture stays.
Need help as to why it won't start. I'm thinking it could be a driver issue somewhere. My system specs far exceed the requirement, heck I play Crisis & COD 4 on highest settings!
I did fill out a support ticket 2 weeks ago, but no one responded as of yet, so I'm trying these forums now!
I tried to register my game, it asked me for my serial #, well where is that? The only # I found is my multiplayer code, & usually they don't ever ask for that #, but is that the one I need to put in.
The multiplayer code is the serial number for the collector's edition.
You'll need to:
- Post PC specs
- Update drivers and post your driver version you're using
- Tell us which game you're actually playing as UC comes in a variety of forms.
Random help questions:
- Did you download the right patch?
- Did you install the right patch?
- Have you tried playing without the patch?
Please don't get angry, we should be able to fix your problem with your help.
