J.Smith
It's probably a bad patch. Try downloading it again.------------------ Commander J.Smith GCV-ROSETTA *3rd squadron, Marauder Wing Stationed, Starbase Fenrir ICQ#67121847 EST "choose your allies wisely, for they may turn against you." =WRAITH FLEET=
Charles Lindsey
Also, read the "fade to black" thread and game "freeze at startup" thread. Several people have asked this recently. Maybe one of those solutions will work for you. ------------------ Commander Chavik Spectre Fleet Commanding Officer, Pre-Commissioning Crew, Starstation Destiny ICV Phoenix Official BC3K Tester"We Shall Arise From The Ashes"
Supreme Cmdr
Probably a bad patch. And why didn't you go up to 2.09? Also, did you see in the FAQ or the version control file where it says to delete the setup.cfg and joystick.set files when you upgrade your patch from scratch? GREG MILLER
Also make sure you start a totally new game, v2.0 games are not upgradeable. ------------------ CMDR GREG MILLER (GMAN) ORION FLEET EXECUTIVE OFFICER TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - SARK ICQ 64202480'The righteous care about justice for all, but the wicked have no such concern.' Guest macross
...and make sure you put the patch in the BC3K directory before you run it...it can find it if you run the patch from somewhere else, but it doesn't always work right...(These things are all in the FAQ, BTW...)
