Hector Socas Navarro
Hmmm... is there a demo for BC3kv209? Where did you get it?Anyway, if you want to download a demo, why not trying BCM instead? ------------------ See you out there, among the starsCmdr Nava, GCV Nemesis (Official BC3k tester)

skydiver
Hi again I have actually downloaded from three sites including fileplanet, all with the same error. I have already downloaded BCM demo but it locks up now and then so I thought I will get the bc3k209vdemo which will keep me going until patches are released. Would Resume Downloading cause errors in the file?.
Epsilon 5
What program are you using for resumed downloading?I consider getright being the best------------------ Commander Epsilon 5 GCV - StalkerIV, Orion Starstation (CENTRIS) Wraith liason officer, Deterrence Battle Group www.orionfleet.com 'This Far, No Farther!' Hector Socas Navarro
I think the BCM demo is very stable now. But you have to put a small file in your BCM directory with the station frontend or otherwise it will crash when you dock. You also have to create a shortcut with the /d1 option (search these forums for more detailed information). Unfortunately these two problems were detected after the episode I demo was released (remember BCM is still beta). But if you fix those two issues (and read the FAQ for some hardware specific settings) the demo should run for hours without a crash. ------------------ See you out there, among the starsCmdr Nava, GCV Nemesis (Official BC3k tester)
skydiver
Thanks for your reply guys. I have manage to download an uncorrupted file form the link on this site but it's the same size as the previous files so I don't know what the problem was. Maybe my computer is weak for real. Thanks for that info Hector.[This message has been edited by skydiver (edited 04-06-2001).]
GREG MILLER
Skydiver,In order to get to the real root of the problem, please post your System Specs. Then maybe we can get both demos working.------------------ Commander Greg Miller GCV - Sark, Orion Starstation (CENTRIS) Fleet XO, Wing Leader, Tsunami Battle Group www.orionfleet.com'Here cometh the storm!'External Beta Tester Battlecruiser Millenium[This message has been edited by GREG MILLER (edited 04-06-2001).]

Epsilon 5
Had the same error. Just add the /d1 command line parameter.
