A Few Questions...

A couple of questions:

1) can you beam personel onto another ship to attempt a hostile takeover?

2) what is the purpose of beaming down personel(non combatants) onto a planet...Is there a specific reason? (perhaps in mission mode...)

3) can you raise crew members IQ by sending them into the library?

4) why wont my shuttles deploy the ATV's in Tacops Mode? I know I'm doing it right (I deploy the mining probe with no problem)...Is this a bug?

5) how can I deploy troops out of my shuttle, without them bumping into it

constantly?

6) I can't seem to get my probes to take scans of planets...is this

possible?

By the way, about the ATV's...I meant to say that Im having trouble deploying ATV's in tacops mode. Manually I have no problem, otherwise though, I cant figure it out. Thanks again!

Not in BC3K, and if my memory serves SC decided not to implement it in BCM...

No reason that I know of.

Nope. That's just a hangout spot where they go to when they're off-duty.

That's a minor bug.

Not in BC3K, and if my memory serves SC decided not to implement it in BCM...


That would be cool, even though you can't go into first-person. It would also be cool if you could give the marines specific objectives, i.e. general havoc, kill the commander, destroy the cloaking device. After all, they can do it to you.

This is kind of a wish list, I know, but a patch, maybe? Or would it be possible in GCO?

Eh, true, but Derek said he would work again on the BTC, the indoor thing for ships that will be available as an addon and a standalone game.

Not YET, or did he allready come down from that decision too. Maybe I have missed that. Last thing I heard was he said that it was supposed to come as part of the post-release (multiplayer) patch.

How hard would that be to add to the game??

BTC would be sizeable, but I would love to see a perscan version, I don't need the physical repersentation yet!!
