ChrisOldfield
Is there any way to win this? By the time my guns recharge and I reallign my battlecruiser its shields are back up. Mu interceptors are killed instantly, and none of the other ships obey my instructions to attack. As I recall, the ship that is supposed to take it over always fails, its disguised shuttle is no good; or its marines are killed when they get inside; or with my luck, the moment they get in the door they throw the guns down and begin partying and smoking whatever it is these assassins smoke!! Epsilon 5
Dunno, never had problems playing that mission... When I'm told to shoot, I shoot and capture it.

The trick with Zerin is you have to capture the station before you are actually supposed to. (ie: in the TOD missions) Try using your downtime between earlier missions to capture Zerin. Works for me. Rosko
Simple.......many nights, I have spent at my friends house playing BCM(when it came out)!! But, gameplay is more like battling the interface than smooth gaming fun!

Rosko
hehe, alright alright...... the graphics are way better... the sound is better...... the game is over all better....(I said it;)) I'm just *****n', 'cause of some of the cool features taken out of BCM from the original! To make my point, try organising a planed attack on a planetary base. It is much more in depth in 3000. You can make way points for you're troops for instance. The troops in BCM have more realistic movement...but still aren't as effective as infantry in 3000. I love what SC has done with BCM, but, I also think he should play the original again to make a parallel BTW, what happened too the original score with bc3000, gotta love that midi!! Rosko
Since I havenÔÇÖt played any version of BCM except for the original release!! Could some one please post a brief explanation of the key improvements, provided by the extensive patching. If it does make it a much better game, would it be worth purchasing it or should I just wait until BCG? Rosko
quote:LOL, well if you haven't played BCM since the original version, reading through the BCM VCF, should make ya wanna run out and buy it!hehe, already done that. It does make me smile, but there just words!! I'll just wait for BCG, & BCO;) Time brings improvment....
Guest Remo Williams
As far as I know owning the game is manditory for Fleet membership. Maybe not so much now since the fleets are mainly RP based, but as soon as the BCM MP patch is release all fleet members will be expected to participate I suspect. Well this topic has went way off I'll shutup now. [ 06-05-2002, 02:49: Message edited by: Remo Williams ]
