Resnig just sits there watching the screen. Then says INTRUDERS ON BOARD. Then sends secret messages to all the marines to go to the opposite side of the ship. Then Intruders steal RANDOM and sabotage all my systems. So now i just beam him to a planet into an enemy base and come back in a few YEARS to check on him.

If you will read the manual you will note that some flux fields end in black holes. I donÔÇÖt want to suggest that this board is a bad place to ask for help, because thatÔÇÖs not the case, but asking questions that are answered in the manual or appendix really irritates some people (like SC) so itÔÇÖs a good idea to check there first.

hehe, he's not that bad. At least not like some of the others. At least his posts make sense and he has reasonable questions to ask.

True, I just couldn't resist giving him a hard time though. I blame it on the topic title, ya thats it the topic made me do it. LOL!

All kidding aside though welcome to the community Kiran.

I don't know what would be better, but I gave the campaign one try and decided that I simply wasn't going to try escorting around ships that were faster then me, and have been playing roam ever since. Besides, in roam mode you can play as a Gammulan

Try the latter!!! I hear chics dig that!!! Just ask Resnig!

Ok, tried the campaign for ter/mil...just one question...is there a reason that the diplomat runs off and leaves his escort(me)? I mean, is he suicidal or something?

You mean those gnats that self-destructed (not really, they were killed) as soon as an enemy showed up near the diplomat? Incidently, my CC was about a jump and a half away. Ah, C'est la vie! I'm sure I'll figure it out, even if I have to fly a fighter myself and let the FO play catch-up with my CC. (that doesn't mean I'll say no to tips, tho )

whos to say your crew wont mutiny when your in your fighter??? they might just leave you in the middle of nowhere with just a fighter to protect you

they left my sorry arse once... because i forgot to put a halt order on the CC before i left it in FP mode. i exited the ship lookin spiffy in my spaceman spiff suit, turned to get a look at my ship, and sadly watched as it jumped towards a jump gate 300km away...

welcome to the n00b fold

uhm, you're escorting them. Not the other way around. Its up to you to keep up and stick with them.

Which is why, you're advised to not piss around with the CC asset used in the scenario. Most people go and pick a totally different asset, not suitable for the scenario. And then wonder why that is.

I'm just saying, if I was a diplomat and was being escorted, I'd know that I had little to no defense on my own and would make sure that the big nasty battlecruiser is always nearby...now, having said that, I think I'm overdue to be jettisoned out the airlock with Resnig...
