Guest Grayfox Posted April 13, 2002 Report Share Posted April 13, 2002 next saturday, 4-20-02, i will be heading out of town to see my father who is in the hospital fightin off kidney failure. ill be gone saturday and sunday (only days i could afford ugh!) and will return monday night in time to get dressed and goto work. unfortunately i wont have access to a computer, so yall wont hear from me until tuesday. god... i get enough email as it is... when i get back i can just picture my inbox will be so full it will threaten to create a singularity just figured id give you guys a heads up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Grayfox Posted April 14, 2002 Report Share Posted April 14, 2002 thanks everyone. hes a tough old bird... still has his sense of humor... keeps asking the nurses to massage his "private parts" lol. his kidney specialist said his total kidney usage is 30%, his body cant get rid of the excess fluid (he gained 80+ pounds of nothing but fluid), and everything is swollen... hence the massage part again thanks to you all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Grayfox Posted April 23, 2002 Report Share Posted April 23, 2002 well, the plane got in early tonight, so i figured id jet home before going to work and post a few notes... thats dedication for ya my pops is doing much better. hes taking physical therapy, mainly because his muscles atrophied after being bed ridden for over a month, and theyre looking to release him to home care in about a week or 2. my visit with my son (his only grandson) defintely cheered him up. To all my fine fleet members, FC Blades, XO Miller, Cmdr EP5, Cmdr Nova, Lt JJ and any who i may have missed, thank you again for your thoughts/prayers.
