Guest $iLk
I was looking through the BCM demo installation and found a zipfile npc.zip inside C:Program Files3000ADBattlecruiser Millennium Demogfxfrontend This contained bmp pics of all characters. And I have a question. Is this where the faces are read from and if we were to edit these pictures would our picture appear in the game? If so I assume all the other files there are editable for ingame too? just in case I wanted to put my family on the BC and have ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US painted on all the walls. Supreme Cmdr
As long as the they remain as BMP files, have the same name as the original and are the same size, you can do what the heck you like e.g. replace the entire crew of officers and pilots. In fact, you don't even have to mess with the zip file. Just create the new files and leave them in that folder where the npc.zip file is. The game will use the version with the most recent date/time stamp, ignoring the older version in the zip file. To revert to using the defaults, just delete yours.
