Stroman
I recently installed the demo from CGW cd. It installed fine. I read all the faqs and troubleshooting. I have nvidia 6.50 drivers with that box unchecked.I ran it in WIN mode to see the error and it has a problem with the dll above.Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Supreme Cmdr
Nothing to do with BCM. Either you don't have DX8 installed or you don't have the correct AVI playback codecs. In which case, download and install DX8 as well as the latest version of Media Playe, which contains all the required codecs.

Guest Remo Williams
welcome Stroman you can find out more info Here on avifil32.dll. The file is a app. extention for video for windows which should have been placed in your windowssystem dir. when windows 95 or 98 was installed. Hope this helps.[ 06-14-2001: Message edited by: Remo Williams ]
Stroman
Thanks for the welcome .The file is there. The win error i get reads "bcm has caused an error in avifil32.dll. bcm will now close"i have to hit ok twice (two diff error windows) then i'm back at desktop. MaHuJa
Another workaround is that you turn off the intro video in the ini file.(I'm assuming a lot of things here, since you never told what circumstances. I assume at once when you start it?)
