Help
I have been having a problem with the 2nd demo for sometime. I was going to leave it and see if it still exists in the finished product, but what the hell, maybe one of you know a simple solution.

First my system specs:
AMD 1.2
Hercules 3d prophet II GTS Pro
Sonic Fury soundcard(santa cruz)
256MB
Direct X 8.0a
Detonator V21.83(graphic card drivers)
ABIT KA7 motherboard

Problem:
I have noticed that the first time i run the planetary missions 3 & 4, external views show my craft fine. If however i quit back to the main menu and re-run those missions. The external view either shows nothing where my ship should be or just a few of the ships panels which are mysteriously floating in the air. This doesn't seem to happen in the other two missions.

I've heard about the Z-buffer issue, tried adjusting it to no effect.

Anyone got any ideas?

IIRC, it was a known bug and has been fixed. You have to quit the game completely, then restart and you should be OK.

If I'm wrong, someone please put him straight

Yep. The game doesn't re-initialize the graphic for your ship. It's been fixed, but you can either play around it, or exit to windows and then play again, if you want for now.

Welcome aboard, chris506.
