Raider's station wont die!

In bc3000ad, I was playing as an insurgent, and Got bored so I decided to assemble a fleet and take out the raiders station. I blew it up, but almost instantly, A new station reappeared, just like the old one. What is going on here? Plus, no credit for blowing it up.

Are you using any of the cheats?

Last year, in an infamous incident on my part, I discovered that a playmod that increases the repair times of stations caused my battlecruiser to continue firing on a station after I captured it. It makes me wonder if your stange station behavior is also the result of a playmod.

on a related note i was wondering if you have to have fc&c befor you can capture stations. i recently went on a gammulan killing spree (wiped out the entire gamula star system) and i forgot to try to capture any of them.

btw. in that gammulan run i went from cmdr. to str.cmdr.(hehe :-))

I don't believe you need FC&C to capture them. However, when you do capture them, you do get C&C of that station.
