Guest tictoc Posted September 22, 2000 Report Share Posted September 22, 2000 Hi guys, my mate's ship got crippled and he asked me how he can request a tow, but i could not see it anywhere in the menu ( as was suggested in the manual )any help?, also for myself, i've tried several times to d/load the gbs file (just curiosity really) but the d/load speed is really aweful (bout 2hrs to d/load), is there a prob with the site, is there another site i can get it from? i have a v90 modem which always gives me 5-6k d/load speed anywhere else and never had the prob before with any file, any help here please. regards tic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've also got a v90 56k modem and d/load only took about 20 minutes if that. Course timing might have an effect--if you are doing d/loads when there is system maint. taking place then things can get slow.
