XOR
in the game when I open a menue I get some kind of graphical problem that I tried to ignore but it just bothers me now... anyways this is what happenes: When I open a menu such as the "Logistix" for example I can see the buttons when I open it but when I hold my mouse cursor over them they turn black so i have to guess where the buttons are and for the drop-menues, when I open a drop menu and then release it the area it occupied remains black and I have to click on the stuff again to get it to show up, so when im issueing crew members orders this causes quite a problem any help would be greatly appreciated
Fractux
Update your video card drivers firstly. This should solve the problem. Since you have no system specs listed though, I can't tell you anything more. Cheers!

Anyway, In the very beginning I had the same problem. After updating ALL my drivers, I'm a very happy gamer, without ANY problems. See the moral in this? In my system profile below you would see that I have a Geforce4 MX420 with driver version 6.14.01.4403. It works very fine indeed.

Since you're a relative n00b, I'll give you a pass this time. Next time....well, there won't be a next time.
