I hope not.

In any case, it's rather odd that I almost always see another player's craft canted at an angle after planetfall. Last night, both Remo's FC and Gordon's CC looked to me (and I emphasize, "looked") to be sticking out of the ground after landing. Mine, on the other hand, looked just fine to them.

I know whats causing it. It is packet delay. Your craft is handled local to you (client side), so it will look fine. To others - if they don't get enough packets - then the last packet they get will be the point where your ship is pitched up (thats an AP problem I need to fix) but they don't get frequent updates up the point where your craft has leveled out. This packet delay issues (which is what those queue error messages are) are the cause of various anomalies when on the planet (because there is a lot more stuff to send and thus more packets) and its the current priority item being investigated.

Thank you, sir. Didn't intend to post a Tech issue here ... it just kinda' metamorphed into one.

No biggie. I found it necessary to explain what was going on.

Here's some shots of my AE out looking for a casino.

City skyline after dark
Pretty lights
Enjoying the view
Watch that first step

I like 'Pretty Lights' with the trees in the suburban-looking foreground.

Yeah I liked that one too. I pity the fool that tries to target and deploy a nuke in this city. You can't see it from these shots but there's an STO silo setting right in the middle of the city just waiting to go active.

Dude, what city is that? That's an awesome view, and it looks way bigger than all the cities I have seen thus far!

His photos are from the new patch that the Beta Team just received. You are looking at a developer that takes pride in his work, considering the price point for this game and the rushed release. He is not only fixing bugs but he is adding content, that's rare these days.

Here is a photo showing just how large these cities are. City View

LOL! I see a new sport in the future. Where a few Marines jump off the side of a building and see who can wait the longest before engaging on their jetpak.

Sweet! I didn't realize that was the new patch at work there. That's really fantastic looking. Thanks so much for that SC, and I can't wait to see your shots! (not to mention how much I am looking forward to this patch!!!)

OK, here are 29 shots taken from one of the new scenarios (IA0119) in the upcoming patch. This scenario is pretty intense because its dark, its stormy, there are marines everywhere. Not to mention two bunkers in the cities and a bunch of patrolling APCs just spitting out hostiles.

Its pretty intense to say the least.

Will take some daylight shots tomorrow when I have time.

Hey I checked out the gallery on gamescreenshots.com and I noticed the trees looked different. Is that in the new patch too?!? Seems to me that it is, and it looks sweet!

Yes the tree billboard texures were replaced with ones SC made with Bionatics natFX.

Wow those city shots blew mine out of the water. Time to go take some more.

Yeah, I licensed natFX for use in UCE2E but then I figured that I'd use them in UC as well.
