GameScreenshots.com has posted a 20-something question interview with the vocal Derek Smart focusing on his upcoming space simulation, Battlecruiser Generations. Also in there are thoughts on publishing with Dreamcatcher Interactive, other space sims, video cards and movies. Along with the interview are 23 NEW shots.
btw, those shots show the Marauder gunship, the XP10/15 SAL units as well as the Garid and Sentry super cruisers.
The color of the contrails have nothing to do with the color of the nacelle intake. I put in contrail tags as I see fit and rarely have anything to do with anything

What ship is in
I increased the number of particles used in the contrails due to the increased system requirements for BCG.
That is the new Sentry super cruiser

Interview was a nice read and informative. Also I have to say I've been seriously impressed with the new graphics on all assets, including these ships/crafts and can't wait to see the commercial transports etc. It'd be cool to see some bright colours applied to them as on the new non-military stations .
But also, to be honest, those lengthy contrails (eg. screenshots 100-120) IMHO, whilst cool on highly maneuverable fighters/shuttles, on the larger ships they look slightly disproportionate in size, kinda unrealistic physics. It looks like the nacelles are damaged or somethin and leaking plasma... buts that just my personal opinion.
