jah Posted July 14, 2003 Report Share Posted July 14, 2003 I'm from Germany, so please dont't be surprised about my English i've already searched for an answer to my question, but I wasn't able to find it. Furthermore I looked for the answer in my manual, with same results. My question is: How can I give my marines orders such like "SAD", "Protect", etc. when I would like to deploy them by the Transporter? I have read, that their default order is "SAD", but when I deploy them, they do nothing, neither cover me nor attack the buildings. So how can I change their orders before I send them to planet. Supreme Cmdr Posted July 14, 2003 Report Share Posted July 14, 2003 Welcome! You cannot change their orders before you deploy them. When you deploy them to the planet (e.g. using transporters), their default orders is SAD. They won't do anything if they don't detect hostiles. So, they may be out of range. To force them to do something - when out of range (and no hostiles are detected) - select each one (see the TacOps section of the manual) and give them a direct order.
