Regarding the joystick: Any way to set it so that twisting the stick makes the ship roll as opposed to turn, as well as having the stick being tilted from side to side make the ship turn as opposed to roll? My throttle also does not work, I have a Saitek Cyborg. Also i just started the campaing, but im not sure what im supposed to be doing, is there a screen somewhere with like objectives? Guest Captain_Loop Posted June 23, 2004 Report Share Posted June 23, 2004 You will need to download the latest patch 2.0.00 and 2.0.11 Once you run these in the Game directory the following you must do: 1) you will find in the game directory a directory called documents, in there you will find a tutorial directory with a PDF. Have a look at that. Also you can get the manual appendix off the www.bc3000ad.com website under downloads for this game. Also, i suggest you do a search on this forum before requesting help for subjects like this that have already been posted, it makes the SC mad. Ive looked on the net and all the sites with a "cracked" cdkey for Universal combat are the same. Chances are if you are registering with that CD key, its already been used by someone else. Or did someone already own that game, get the CDKEY, burn the game, and return it for you to purchase? DS Has admitted already that the forum registration doesn't check for cd keys that aren't properly generated or bought , thats why you need your system profile in your sig. speaking of which, you may wanna fix yours up to show a label like "System stat" rather then the whole URL. PS, ive know the situation to happen where someone will burn the CD, steal the key and return it to the shop. The shop then reseals it or shrink wraps it again to look all new. It is supposed to display your system settings when you click on it. It looks like you did it all wrong. And you won't receive any technical support untill you register it correctly... Becase people think to stick the URL in between the brackets rather then where it says PASTED. If you won't you may recall not very positive feedback amongst people who have created these rules. 3000AD forums are different from "other" and public forums. There are rules you have to follow at least if you want to communicate with people on 3000AD forums. So I suggest you better go here: http://www.3000ad.com/register/ and register the game with the key you have. Ill do as its said. Registering for the forum and registering the game, are two COMPLETELY different things. The former allows you to post on the forum and does not require a CDKEY. The latter requires that you use the CDKEY in order to register or you will not have access to the latest patch (e.g. 2.00.11). The game appendix is included in the game. The version on the downloads page is for printing at Kinkos. And its not reflective of the current version, since various revisions have been made since the person put that printable version together.
