Vixef
This tip is probably something that most of the players around knows about. Let's say you are trading between Earth and Pluto. You have bought some goodies at GalcomHQ, then you jump to Pluto. Instead of actually flying to Gazer1, you target it and hit ALT+D. Voila!!! You are docked. Papi
That works only with the free bc3k 2.09, there's a /d* option in the shortcut to enable the debug mode, because SC left the debug mode on it.So it's not really a tip, it won't work with the retail version. Now go back and do it the hardway, because that's what you're getting with BCM [ 08-31-2001: Message edited by: Papi ]
Cmdr Nova
And its even more realistic in BCM/GCO!In BC3K (Non-Debug), you've got to fly within 25 Clicks (IIRC), but in BCM, you've got to clear all the way to zero, before you can dock. But, this is in part that the 'zero zone' takes up a good chunk of the model's boundary, while in BC3K, getting 'zeroed in' was impossible, because the distance was recorded from the center of the model.............
