Any tips on the best way to capture space stations?
I've tried capturing the Pixan Raider station several times and I've gotten the hull down to less than 700, but it just won't send out an S.O.S. Am I not waiting long enough? Is my experience too low (2900 on this game)? Do I need to have Fleet C&C first?
Also on a side note, is it possible to capture the Land based stations as well?

the best tactic to capturing is base is cloaked.. do not fire missles *while cloaked or they will detect you*
as for capturing.. there is a certain HULL number that the station will send out an SOS and a certain number where it'll become disabled (Unable to send out an SOS due to systems either being destroyed or disabled)

I think there are a couple of threads on this already. Do a search for 'capture' and maybe the right one will turn up.

Yeah I did this already but didn't really come up with anything very usefull. I was mostly wondering if there's a certain amount of time that passes before a station will send out an S.O.S. or if you have to be like a certain ranking or something like that.
Oh well, I'll figure it out.

In my own experience it sends out an SOS when the system integrity reaches around 20. Fine line between that and disabled. That is the number above the armor and hull rating that lowers as the ship/station/ect.. take actual damage to their systems.

and a good way to get to the station if you don't have a clocked ship, is (this works most of the time for me) to jump to the suply station, but make sure that the staion is between you and the suply station. that way u will pass though it and all you have to do is back up or turn around and u are right nest to it, i mean RIGHT THERE. and fly on the insides
