Saw this yesterday. Oh man, oh man.

I've seen all three. My life is now complete.

I didn't mind that they deviated from the book by a bit because the artistic changes didn't detract from the enjoyment and epic scale of the movie.

I can't wait to see what PJ does to King Kong.

10/10

Next up: The Last Samurai

one thing im hoping that they put in the extended edition of ROTK is sauruman and the taking over of the shire, and what happened when the 4 hobbits returned. i think that was some major plottage, but i can understand why it wasnt in the original release... if PJ had included it, the movie probably would have been 4 1/2 hours long lol.

heres to hoping. no more movies for me until the alamo comes out, then after that troy.

I think I read somewhere that this wasn't shot. If it wasn't shot, then it won't appear in the DVD.

My feelings exactly.

No matter the quibbles, the trilogy KICKS ASS. Now I have the book and the films to enjoy for the rest of my life!

P.S. Right SC. The "Scouring of the Shire" was not shot. It won't be in the EE.
