Guest Hellbinder[CE]
I simply cant believe how amazing this flick is. When does this thing come out in the states?? It's serious Best Picture material. IMO HERO is Head and Shoulders above Crouching tiger and the other Similar Chinese Period/Fantasy Flicks. Jet Li was just Wonderful. What really impressed me the most (Understatement) is the Truely Jaw Droping Cinematography and Visuals. I mean Good God!!! I clearly am going to go see this in the theater if/When it comes out. Im still sitting here Astonished at how Impressive/Spectacular/Riveting/Creative.. *WOW*.
Supreme Cmdr
Hey you, how many times do we have to post this : If you're going to post about something worth posting about, at the very least, provide a link, useful information etc etc So, if this movie is not out yet in the States, how did you get to see it? Last time I checked, Idaho was still in the continental USA. So, did you, uhm, hop over to Asia on your magic carpet, saw the movie and whizzed back home? kschang
Historical fiction is far more interesting than fantasy... Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is more fantasy than realism. Hero is based on some Chinese legends... There actually WERE plenty of assassins trying to kill Emperor Qin (founder of Qin Dynasty) (It's pronounced "chin"). So the storytellers embellished it with kungfu...
