Likewise when people hear you parroting propaganda you must understand that they feel the same about your nonsense.

We have been fed a laundry list of misinformation and yet somehow, the people that say, "Hey, this isn't jiving at all" are the ones that are clueless. One must concede that thus far nothing that was sold to us in the State of the Union address of 2003 turned out to be true. One must also concede that those that have pointed this fact out have been met with vitriolic retorts that do not lend any credence to the actual claims that were made. Instead we have a CIA operative outted and dirty pool being played against those in politics that stand up and do say, "This is crap."

I was very glad to go to Scotland for the past two weeks and see that the BBC still adheres to indepth journalism that takes into account that nothing that was sold to us actually materialized. It is a shame that Blair is going to pay for this sham of a war in Britain (but he screwed up and therefor should go) and I can only hope as a card carrying Republican that the American people likewise hold feet to the fire and say enough is enough removing GW from power. If any of us ran a business with as many excuses as this administration has laid at the feet of the people we would be out of a job. I have said it before and I will say it yet again... Republican or not the President of this nation is entrusted with not only our protection but with our credibility. At this point we have none.

If Bush were just another Quayle making stupid statements such as "how hard it is to put food on our families" *snickers* I would be forgiving. It is far worse, it is the promotion of an ill thought agenda through the use of misinformation (at best) and out and out lies (at worst).

Passion is great but if you expect people to cater to yours then you better be ready to grant the same quarter.

Peace

To those considering History. Take it. There was a study recently done where they compared History, Psycology, English and Math graduates and concluded that History comes out on top. The grads get hired immediately after graduation and are paid a lot more right at the start.

Read the threads El Che, I have told here time and time again, where the WMD's are.

Yiu just haven't been listening, then again, you really DON'T want to know where they are, because you would rather that they not exist at all.

Sorry buddy, but they exist and they are in the hands of dangerous people.

We were late, if we hadn't farted around with the Idiots at the UN, we might have been able to get them. But we advertised every move we were making, so Saddam got them the heck out of dodge. Oh and of course the ones that were supposed to be used got dumped into the Tigris by his generals.

The clenup of that mess is costing millions, but I have yet to hear a thing about WMD chemicals in the river having to be cleaned up in the mainstream press, have you?

ROFLMAO!! OMG, I haven't laughed that hard in weeks, thanks Takvah.

BBC, indepth journalism...ROFLMAO, talk about an oxymoron.....

Glad you got to go to Scotland, BEAUTIFUL country....

The rest of it? Not even going to bother to comment, same old Spew from the mainstream press, and you just parrot it like the good little liberal and Bush hater that you are.

No problem, like I said facts won't change your minds, because this is all an emotional issue for you.

You are right, I guess I was'nt aware of how passionately he feels about these issue's. Hence the reason for my last post. It was'nt right for me to say those things as I really don't know all of what his opponents have said to him, nor the manner in which they said it.

So I retract my statements, and formally apologize to Jag.

Mabe Jag does have some serious contacts that are legit. Who am I to say he does'nt, when I don't know.

I usually stay out of the political threads cause I'm clueless about those matters. It was wrong of me to pop in, read a few posts, and then pop off at the mouth.

Sorry again Jag.

(I definitly could be a history teacher tho. My fav subject)

Cheers

And no need to apologize, I got a little worked up myself and I apologize as well.

Thanks Echo....

You keep talking about these facts but I don't see any. You keep calling me a liberal which is code for ENEMY, when I am not a liberal. I am the last of the Conservative patriots it seems. You swallow the hook, the line, the reel and the rod. There is a difference between being a Republican and being recklessly stupid. I will not ignore the facts (that you continue to fail to provide). I know that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. We gave them to him. We sent Donald Rumsfeld to see Saddam in the early 80s. We provided him the nerve agents and gases he used to quell insurgents within his own country as well as Iranians. Great, he had weapons of mass destruction. The shelf life on most of those weapons was exceeded well before this war. So, he sent what to Syria... oh yeah, the weapons of mass destruction he bought from Africa, Russia, and Al-Qaeda... right? Not one stinking link to anything like that has been proven. He had drones that could spray our countryside with toxic agents! Wrong. He had something that was less sophisticated and less operational than a hobby shop RC plane.

What are the excuses given? Our intelligence was bad... and lo' and behold it's all Clinton's fault. Three plus years in office and it is still Clinton's fault? Was our intelligence so bad that we didn't know who was responsible for 9/11? No. So why did we decide within hours that we should attack Iraq when Osama was in Afghanistan? Why did we pull out all of our troops from Afghanistan (except for a small fraction of non specialists that give the impression that we are "hunting" Osama)? Did you know that the special forces guys trained to hunt in terrains like Afghanistan were sent to Iraq too?

So what do we have?

No Osama

No Nukes

No WMDs

No Coalition

No Credibility

In addition... we have...

An increase in global terror

Debt out the ass

Corporate welfare through war

Those are the facts. We have to pick and choose our enemies, we are 300 million people and we think we can take on 6 billion. Sure we can, if we nuke em. Is that likely? Who knows with this bunch and their "tactical nukes". What is TACTICAL about a nuke? Morons. That missile defense system doesn't work? Hell deploy it anyway! I could GO ON AND ON AND ON... and you sit there like you have the facts? You don't have JACK. You call yourself a patriot? What patriot does not question the sanity of such moves made by his government? What can you cling to?

I AM A REPUBLICAN. I am an American. People that do not question their government frighten me. A press in this country that doesn't bother to ask why any of the above listed littany of faux pas (that could be added to exponentially I will remind you) scares me. Liberal media? Is that what you call those that question this insanity? I don't see anyone asking the tough questions so how can they be liberal or even for that matter considered the PRESS?

Sit there and push your chair back and color anyone with a divergent opinion based on critical thought an idiot, a liberal, a TRAITOR. That's great... that's the depth of the counterpoint. And that should frankly scare the hell out of you.

I've had my say... I gave up on you long ago Jaguar... but I won't sit back and allow you to run-over anyone that has an opinion counter to yours. Passion is great... fascism sucks... so be a good patriot Jaguar and think and allow diversity... you attack it like it will personally harm you that people might not agree with you. Well I'm sorry but that's life. As a conservative I learned long ago that there are those that find my ways of thinking archaic... not politically correct... not timely. Good for them. Attack as you wish.. but spare me the trite... "you know nothing" replies of the past. This isn't a schoolyard. I thought we were having a mature discussion. So please keep it elevated. I can handle being told my argument is idiotic by you... I consider it a compliment because if that's all you've got it says a lot.

Carry on.

No, Takvah. I too am a conservative REPUBLICAN, which has been denounced as a liberal(among other things).Because,I too, have had the GULL to denounce the ignorance of THIS administration and it's EXTREMELY Ignorant actions, throughout this whole epesode. And I have voted REPUBLICAN for the LAST 30+ years(NOT this year!!!)

Neither of you are conservatives, and neither of you are republicans nor have been republicans.

You are both feel good liberals that are emotional about Bush and will use anything and everything to bring him down. To conspiracy theories, to idiotic socalled facts that have no merit to begin with.

You are both tried and true Bush haters, nothing more, and nothing less, anything you say, I take in that light, it is an emotional thing for you, and facts will not change your minds.
