@Kartoffle, YOU have a very legitimate point. In MY opinion, it is just MORE BUSH BULL!!

They would do well, to put these OFFICIAL's NAMES, into these "SO CALLED" TERROR alerts. Then everyone could see who the REAL terrorist are.

Dont worry about Jag's Labels... he labels everyone who doesnt like the BUSH WAR ideology. I believe, HE finds amusement in attempting to assasinate another's character.

This(BUSH) administration,is activily slandering anyone's character who expresses BALANCED views

of reality, concerning this war.

Why would one expect a "BUSH-WAR-ITE" to do any different. Bush is a LIER, and his FATHER is a lier...those who serve bush, have no choice, but to follow the path of their master.

Jaguar it must be tough to breathe with your head so deep in the sand. This is just more "throw it out there and keep the masses scared" BS. Just like the turnover of Iraq is just a load of BS. Nice that Karzai worked with Unocal and the CIA and now this guy in Iraq is a puppet of British and American Intelligence (and I use the term loosely) agencies. I think the radiowaves are frying your ability to reason. If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck... it's a duck.

Do the research Jag, see who we put into power in Afghanistan. How much of the country that puppet government controls. The deal for the pipeline that was derailed by the Taliban but mysteriously got pushed through by Karzai. We didn't avenge 3000 dead. We didn't get Osama. We didn't liberate Afghanistan (the Warlords control it if you hadn't heard) but we did manage to get that deal done for the pipeline. Do I need to give you the list of companies that are benefiting from that deal?

Every holiday we get these terror briefings from Bush. It's like the secret toy surprise. Meanwhile for all of the "protection" provided by Bush the "protector" our borders are like swiss cheese and immigration is a joke. Just keep em dumb and scared. I don't think that's cutting it anymore though... applause after Fahrenheit 9/11 HAHAH... I haven't ever seen people APPLAUD. My mistake is 5 months to being fixed. I can't believe I voted for this idiot.

Hey Jag... don't forget your helmet and flak jacket when you go for that cold one *SNICKERS* BUAHAHAHAH!

In my humble, unbiased opinion, it seems like both sides of this argument are so passionate, and so dug in with their beliefs, that there are irrational arguments made on both sides. I think it's a bit unfair to label people Bush Haters, but it's just as unfair to imply Jaguar is an alarmist.

That is the problem with America I think. People are so worried about who is right, individually, they don't worry about what they should be worrying about, the country as a whole.

Should John Kerry be voted into the WHite House, surely he will be tied to industries and businesses as well. He will have some of the same traits as Bush. When that happens, the roles on this forum will be reversed. It's a vicious and never ending cycle.

I give up on you guys.

Tax cuts JUST for the wealthy would help everyone, but because they are rich, the federal government should for some reason punish them.

I find this sad in the extreme.

IT IS THEIR MONEY!! The government has as much right to take MORE of it as they have the right to come in and steal theri household furniture.

Yeah, I fear for the US's future when the rich are punished for being successful, and when the poor feel that it is only fair that the government do so.

Rome did this as well in the end times of that civilization.

Punish success, and reward being poor, and you destroy the foundation upon which this country is built.

But your blindness to you socialist fairness, blinds you to the destruction that you are creating.

EACH and every clean air rule that Bush has lightened has allowed industries to COMPETE HERE in the US, instead of moving those jobs oversease where the pollution and EPA standards are either Lighter, or do not exist. Bush wants to keep our jobs HERE, and in order to do that, you have to make that decision by private industry be profitable.

But instead of Bush saves jobs by relaxing questionable EPA rules, it's Bush lightens clean air rules. What a crock of crap.

You guys have NO clue what runs this economy, NONE, otherwise you would be screaming for MORE tax cuts for the rich and everyone else, because it MOVES the economy.

And yes, the rich got a HIGHER tax cut, because they PAY MORE......

The working middle class poor PAY NO FEDERAL INCOME TAX!!!! HELLO KARTOFFEL!!!!

I know that I didn't, I actually got MORE money back, then I payed in......

Do you see it yet? or are you still blinded by your socialistic upbringing, and ideas of fairness?

Lenin thought such things were fair as well, so do ALL of the other european countries, and they are literally in economic ruins, just look north to Canada to see how your socalled fairness has destroyed that country with it's socialistic ideals.

Sad, just sad......

If a terrorist attack occurred with one of these weapons, you and Kartoffel and Takvah would be the FIRST ones jumping up and down and Screaming at the top of your lungs that Bush and company didnt warn us, and why didn't they.

ADMIT it, because you would.

YOU WOULD BE THE FIRST ONES....

you'd scream and yell and have a cow about how Bush missed it, and why didn't they warn us, and what an awful job that Bush was doing that the terrorists were able to hit us that way and we didn't get warned.

ADMIT it, you would indeed be the first ones to come down on Bush.

Oh please, you actually clapped at that end of that propaganda piece? OMG.

Tells me where you are.

It's all I needed to know about your opinions.

You do research? If you applauded at the end of that piece of garbage, your research is NOTHING at all, and SHOWS NOTHING at all.

I ought to start an ignore list here, and just place your ignorant rants on them.

I am an alarmist?

Give me a break,

Just as I said above, the first time a terrorist hits us with some sort of device that Bush and company did NOT warn us about, you will be one of the first jumping up and down about how Bush missed it, and how he should have warned us, but since he did warn law enforcenment about a possible threat, you come down on him for being alarmist and trying to upset the American people.

And this borders open like a sieve, this is one of the FEW things I agree with you on, other then that, we have nothing in common at all.

You want Kerry in the White house, and think Bush is some kind of idiot. I find it amusing, considering how Kerry, if he wins, which he WON'T, will be voted in because bush haters like you have no one else to vote for.

Perhaps Nader would be more your style? At least he would try and stop the war etc, instead of just continuin the Bush doctrine.

Kerry would continue the same policies, he has said it himself. THe international community is involved, why do you think that Spain was attacked? WHy do you think a South Korean was murdered? The International community is INVOLVED.

Kerry would change NOTHING, accept destroy the domestic economy that it has taken Bush almost 4 years to create. Oh, and of course make it so that we will indeed get a domestic terrorist attack, because Kerry would sulk away and NOT fight back.

I fear for this country when I hear such nonsense coming out of the mouths of what are otherwise intelligent people.

I have to agree with Jaguar that there are a few people here who will complain that Bush is crying wolf, but if something did happen and he didn't say anything they would criticize that also. I don't mind the government coming out and warning us that there MIGHT be a possibility of an attack on U.S. soil. It helps remind me that we are at risk and I should use some common sense by not opening every cooler that doesn't belong to me that I see. There is a large number of people in this country that don't have enough common sense, so they have to be warned about this type of thing, whether it ends up happening or not.

Your raving nonsense, JAG. I have NEVER had ANY problem with the fight on the ALQUEDA. My only concern, is the BUSH METHODOLOGY in regard to HIS manipulation, of the public.(i.e. using FEAR to justify ATTACKING AND INVADING to control RESOURCE)

as far as beer coolers...LOL how about shoe boxes...lunch boxes...lockers...car trunks...car doors....car ignition....backpacks...etc. etc. etc. LIVE IN FEAR!!!..I dont care!!!

Use your brain!.....it is more likely a neighbor would cut your throat for the noise of your stereo!!!

I REFUSE TO LIVE IN FEAR, because an organized group ATTACKED the WORLD financial institution within the U.S., and A RADICAL president USED that excuse to manipulate a following!!!

HE HAS A VERY VIABLE POINT...and this has NOTHING TO DO WITH PARTISEN POLITICS, but EVERYTHING to do with METHODOLOGY and ETHICS!!!

Jaguar, how many times must I tear your arguments and rantings to shreds before you will realize that you are just plain wrong?

Bush's tax cuts make the rich richer, while the middle and lower classes get poorer. I can't make it any simpler then this.

Bush's anti-envoirnmental policies will give our next generations respitory diseases like asthma, and will ruin wilderness areas.

His enourmous deficit could very likely cause something near-cataclysmic when intrest rates rise significantly, unless progressive measures are taken to reduce the defecit. (Trickle down has been proven to NOT work - it had 12 years of Reagan and Bush Sr, where it only made the defecit bigger, until Clinton reversed it, and things turned right around.)

Bush's policies in Iraq is even getting Hindus AND Muslims to criticize it together. Imagine, something that brings together two factions, who are really not on very good terms together.

His heavy-handed approach to combatting Al-Qaeda hasnt worked so far (analogy: If I beat you up, would you drop your neo-con beliefs? Of course not, it would just make you resentful and angry.)

The biggest factor in Rome's decline, was their reliance on mercenaries, NOT their economic policies.

What it looks like you are advocating is the rich being completely tax-free, while the working class struggles to keep the country running, while the rich just get richer.

You are just refusing to listen to my point on the original topic (Maybe the last dozen or so posts should be split off into a new thread) I would NOT be criticizing them for not warning, I would criticize for their lack of real evidence.

You've caught yourself in a nice little catch-22 here. The working class does indeed pay income tax - this at whitehouse.gov proves it. How you can continue to spout this drivel about not paying taxes, is beyond me.

Nader is not about to win the election, and I'm not going to waste my vote on him, especially because I'm in a swing state. Makes it all the more important to vote for the right person. Kerry isnt perfect - heck, nobody is, least of all Bush.

Bush IS an idiot, cant you see him stumbling along and looking at his papers during his speeches?

And Kerry is one of the most hawkish Democrats in this day & age - if you would bother to look at his voting record, you might notice it. He just doesnt want to throw money on something that isnt going to give real results - like the Reagan-era plans for a space-based missile system. Also, if you do look at his voting record, keep in mind how Senate voting works - it's yea or nay to the ENTIRE bill, so just because he voted yea, does not mean he supports one clause in it. And vice versa.

When will you accept the truth, Jaguar?

More class warfare rhetoric from you.

I am middle class Kartoffel, and so are a LOT of my freinds, MOST of us, if NOT ALL of us, actually got MORE money back from the government then we payed in. This is a FACT.......

Income tax brackets are unfair on their very basis.

All income tax should be a FLAT tax. PERIOD....

Everyone pays 10% of whatever their income, NO MATTER their income, in taxes.

To tax the rich because they are successful is punishing success.

You Obviously do NOT understand economics, or you would not spout such nonsense.

And your environmental nonsense, comes right out of the pages of Greenpeace, who would like nothing better then for us all to live in grass huts with no electricity etc, and to take ALL our money and redistribute it to make life fair.

Get a grip on reality please....PLEASE!!!

I am beginning to think you are what? Around 18-23 years old.....

Your posts so far and the nonsense your spouting shows me that you are probably within that age range.

If you are not a liberal between 18 and 30, you have no heart, if you are not a conservative when you are 30 and above, you have no brains....

Bush's policies in Iraq is
to criticize it together.
