Guest
YOu guys may have resources that I don't, but I need help badly. When I lived in Oregon and had DSL, I had Verizon/Earthlink, I have since moved of course, and now I am getting DSL with Centurytel. I am told that my Old DSL will work with this system, it is a Fujitsu Speedport FC9660RA14. THe problem is this, on the old system, my VPI was set for 0, and now with this new system, it must be set for 8, problem is, I am clueless as to how to do this. ANybody have any ideas? I would rather not have to order their modem, but will if I have to.
GREG MILLER
Check this sites forums out, especially the Fijitsu Hardware Forum for an answer. Post a question if you like, I'm sure somebody there knows how to fix this if they can. If my memory serves me correctly, That Modem I believe is for a "Frame Relay" setup, which is going the way of the dinasaur for the better "ATM" setup. Again, check that site out. Guest
You are EXACTLY right Greg. Problem is that this modem is indeed ancient, and now I have to get the new modem, after I told them that I didn't need it. I am a little upset, because it now will be another week before I get to use my DSL, ARGH!! Thank you!!
